I would receive my product notes a couple of days in advance, letting me know just what I would be doing (every week was different). The first thing I would do upon arriving at the location I was assigned was check in as a guest within that store.  Afterwards I would set up my product table close to the product in which I was selling (including samples of that product).  

In short my job was to give free samples and information of the product in order to help my customers make informed decisions.

Usually this was a solitary position, I never really saw other co--workers unless we were booked for the same location.

My typical day involved taking inventory for a particular product and showcasing it for better sales. I learned how to stack inventory for certain products and I about the basics of customer management. I worked with only one co-worker but she was very friendly and inviting. We were contracted to the Real Canadian Superstore so only two of us worked there. The hardest part of the job was convincing people to buy the product as well as the low wages. But the skills acquired were very useful.

Instore Focus was managed through Telephone or mail courier.
I received instructions with pos at home or stores{ where Demo was being executed}
I follow the protocol of company's policies.

When I work as a group with fellow demonstrator, I found my days went quickly and more productive

As I was demoing, customers collected near demoing booth to have conversation with other customers.

Part time, good customer relationships to promote product.  Receive product strengths and provide customer feedback to employer via internet.
Low pay.

Set up display to make it interesting and engaging with customers

Great team effort and results to introduce new food and products.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Pick up material at UPS for product prep.

busy and rushing to set up table and product sample for food testing at customer, learned how to sell your demo product and always be nice and patience to customer who is asking for sample food.sometimes you may encounter  customer who is so agrresive and no manners while getting and asking for sample.which is against the policy of the company.the most enjoyable part is feeling great giving food sample to people.

A typical day at work would be basically interacting with different customers and telling them about my product that I am promoting/selling. Ensured that the customers tried tasting my product and made sure they do not leave without purchasing the product. The hardest part of my job is the set up and making sure that my display is clean and attractive so customers would not walk by without coming to my event booth and see my products on display

I liked giving out food samples and showing different products to customers.A good place to work but low wage and no benefits.

This job was interesting I worked with some great people and demonstrated a lot of new product to the customers in Loblaws store

Management take care of the employee.  Healthy working environment.  Flexible working hours.  Very good benefits.
Friendy and helpful people.  Great place to work

It was a great first job however it took up the whole entire weekend, and we were standing there for whole day. The hardest part was setting up it took almost atleast 20 minutes to set up
