Very manipulative work environment. During the interview, you are told by the managers that there are unlimited opportunities to earn extra money + perks if you book more appointments. However, here is how it works: the quicker you call the potential customer after they have made an online request, the higher the chance you stand in booking that appointment. However the queue that allows you to call those new leads is strictly controlled by the managers, and they decide who to give that opportunity to.  Thus making it an “unequal” opportunity workplace, because from the very beginning of your training it has already been decided who will they favor, and throughout training, that person is singled out, given special attention, and is put in the new lead queue (right away), putting him at an advantage above others. That person is also encouraged to seek advancement within the company by becoming a Certified Insurance Agent, which requires you to have a high appointment conversion rate, in order to be eligible. While the rest of the team members are left to make all the dead-end calls that only lead to voice mails and no appointments, therefore making it a somewhat very discriminatory work environment. 

Not that I cared that they had their favorites, but I'd appreciate it if they were more upfront about their approach to employee management, and I wouldn't have bothered accepting their job offer. I left in less than 1 month.
It is a good place to work if you are looking for a part-time flexible opportunity and don’t mind all the lies and manipulations. But if you want a full-time job opportunity in a good company known for its honesty, integrity and high moral values, this isn’t the right place for you! Best of luck!

After going on almost 2 years with the company I'm finally going to leave a review of my time here at ISI. Coming into the company I wasn't expecting it to be such a close family-like environment, but after a few weeks, that was exactly what it was. I have never been to a company that cared about its employees the way that ISI does. Being a new company at the time of my hire I was very excited about the growth here at the company and getting to see everything firsthand made it even more exciting. The company is new to the US but not new to life insurance, completely taking a stance on insurance sales here in the US with its 100% over-the-phone approach. Leads come in smoothly with the use of the wonderful qualifiers and are ready for the advisor to take passed the finish line. The ability to talk to someone about life insurance without making 100 cold calls is a big game changer. There is also no bait and switch here at ISI which is a breath of fresh air in the life insurance business. The compensation plan has changed since I have been an advisor and it's a wonderful bonus structure with NO CHARGE BACKS, which just adds to the game change life insurance agents want, no one wants to work hard and then have everything they worked for taken from then and owed back to a company. This is a major reason that I tell my friends in the life insurance business to come to check out ISI. Also being an employee with ISI also gives you full benefits at 90 days, these are medical, vision, and dental. One of the best benefits programs I have seen in a workplace environment. Insurance Supermarket is full of family, friends, a wonderful work environment, and great opportunities no matter if you are new to life insurance sales or a veteran in the game. I love my job! Seriously I don't get that Monday dread feeling anymore. I have been with ISI for over 3 months now and my coworkers and bosses are already starting to feel like family. I have never worked anywhere where I truly feel that I am valued not only for my contribution to the company but just for being me. I am in the US so feeling like a cog is the norm, its not like that at ISI! They are patient while you are learning, and encouraging every step of the way. Management is very forward thinking, values employee insight and supportive about advancement opportunities. The benefits are amazing!!!  It is a fast paced environment in my Dept. but I love it. I tell everyone I know to apply ( even my husband lol) and will continue to. This job has been a blessing and an amazing opportunity. 

I have worked for this company for almost 2 years and I can’t tell you how miserable employees in a lot of departments are. People are scarred of talking because they will terminate you or put you on a performance plan to terminate you. Management is disrespectful, not responsive and have their favourite employee and you will feel it. They will give you unattainable incentive to reach and will need to work overtime every week to have the chance to achieve it.and if you have the luck to speak with HR regarding something that happened with your manager they will make you feel like you are the problem and will end up with more problem with your managers so they’re no solution but to keep it it to your self. I wish I had the courage to quit before they destroyed my mental health 

As the Call Center Operations Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a high-volume call center. It is a remote environment for the most part so make sure you have discipline. High performance culture with like minded individuals.  

There are many working events and ISI has strong core values. It is a good place to work and we use the best and latest technology so that is pretty cool. 

I have been working here for about three years. I love this job; it has given me the opportunity to grow and gain knowledge on life insurance. I am now working towards getting my license. My manager has been great and always understanding. I love coming to work, hardly don't even like to miss days. It's even allowing me to learn how to be a leader in training at this moment. I've been grateful for everyone that has allowed me to stay and grow. 

they have the worst work system ever and they will keep blaming for why its not working
how it works is they will tell you what to do during the training, you start doing it and your coach will till you you're doing things wrongly and tell you completely knew things, when you adjust again you'll find yourself getting blamed from another person from the management and it will continue like that till you get pissed and leave.


They pretend to be brokers when they only have 3-4 products from the same company. The best leads are taken by the experienced salespeople that are somewhat close to the qualifiers (they talk to each other). They also gaslight you into thinking that you are unproductive when the reality is that their leads are of terrible quality. The manager from the team Unstoppable is a huge cornball.

Work place and environment is really good, but like every company has its ups and downs. Management is okay some are very professional but some need training to become professional. Sometimes managers are hard to communicate with. Training is provided and done once a month. There is bonus that only a few people make but it is easy to get the bonus. priority is not equally given to employees.
