Process and verify payments received accurately, reconcile bank deposits and verify total deposits.
Prepare, compile and distribute invoices, statements, reports and cheques.
Enter the billing statements and payments of brokers in the payment register and record them in the accounting system.
Reconcile accounts and resolve unpaid amounts.
Review and resolve unclosed amounts; correct and adjust journal entries and process cheque requests.
Check and enter bank information, review new accounts, change payment schedules and make premium refunds charged by the company.
Resolve certain issues related to payments, disbursements, billing agreements, payment methods and discrepancies between accounts.

Management had zero vision and was managing people according to surveys and was always reactive to things instead of leading the team.
The leader of the procurement department had experience in finance and was clueless in managing procurement people and understanding how a procurement department was supposed to work. His leadership was toxic

Lots on integration activities in the first week. Laptop arrived fast to my home. It was an internship during the covid epidemia. My team i was assigned to was really helpful.

Good company to work at for summer interns. Nice managers and nice people.  Workload isn't much as well and had to go to the office only about once or twice a week.
