What is the best part of working at the company?
In 2016 we were gifted large items and treats by company. That's stopped and they don't even do birthday month cakes.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Middle management being placed there to do the least amount of damage. Typically they were nepotism hires so be careful of criticizing anymore, they all look out for their kids/nieces/mothers/fathers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic, if you speak up about low staffing/support they begin to start writing you up for "things" that are deep in the book that have no effect on the company BUT its their way to keep you submissive and afraid to speak up again.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Anarchy, they have too many upper managers in Nova Scotia/Vancouver so getting hard firm answers from anyone within 24 hours was not a possibility .

What is the best part of working at the company?
Lots of growth opportunities within Company

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Hail season is th busiest season

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly and people are actively helping each others

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Having 2 breaks , each of 30 mins, 
Meeting all the other teams during that

- Doing the states filing and running company rate indication with dateline are the main duties during a typical day
- Excellent workplace with all nice people
- Great actuarial program to encourage students to pass actuarial exams 
- The most enjoyable part of the job is to apply what I have learned to the company and grow with the company

Fulfilling multitasks of doing indication, state filings, data analysis and ad-hoc and project driven query requests from business units.

Learning through working everyday. A great working environment with the manager, my team members and all co-workers from other related departments.

This is a department that has so much potential to be an amazing workplace. The work force is, in my opinion, overwhelmingly intelligent, diligent, and responsible, however there are occasionally issues with unnecessary micromanagement.

Working as in Auto Adjuster was a terrible job. You're barely supported. Management was awful. It was insane workload with no help after the short period of training. Workload unmanageable. Very unorganized. 

Love the company and values.  
Unfortunately management is not well trained in motivating or excelling staff.  High turnover due to work flow and lack of empathy to staff for the workload handled.

A multicultural environment where I learned from my experimented colleagues to provide excellent customer services to brokers and to internal customers.

Friendly executives and coworkers. Super fast paced environment. Hybrid work environment with flexibility.
Pay is good with benefits, vacation, shares, float days etc

Overall, it is a good company but really depends on your team. Lots of unrealistic expectations at times but they do try to compensate as best as they can. Good start to a career
