Well I spent about a year working for this company it started fairly good but quickly went down hill, if it wasn't the disorganized management structure ie getting sent out to jobs that hadn't been walked down or being put on a job just to be shuffled around to sometimes 4 to 5 different tasks in one shift and never being able to complete anything, to having to deal with the crew witch m9st wouldn't think twice about throwing you under the bus if they thought it would gain them something from management or just generally being rude and disrespectful towards you to your face or be super nice to you in person then throw shade on you with your back turned, the projects that they get are usually always small with material rarely ever ordered so you have to scrounge and beg and steal material, power tools are provided by the company but there aren't enough to go around to people hoard them and they are always used hard and kept in poor condition. Your hours worked will change with no notice sometimes in the middle of the day safety is sold as #1 priority but if a incident happens it is looked at as your fault and write ups are handed out like candy, there is no room at all for any kind of advancement to even get them to give you tasks to your skill level is difficult the crew I worked with was super clique they carry themselves with a attitude of "I'm better than you" and God forbid if they don't like you your toast. I have told everyone I know in the trade to stay away from this company.

- A typical day for a warehouse operator involves arriving at work at 8am and leaving at 5pm Monday through Friday with few exceptions of days requiring overtime. Typical daily tasks include: forklift and zoom boom operation, inventory of electrical materials and parts, maintenance on trucks and trailers, cleaning and organizing of the warehouse, frequent material pickups and deliveries to and from job sites, shipping and receiving materials, filling out daily safety forms, creating and updating spreadsheets for inventory, etc.
- The management and workplace culture is excellent! The owners and employees are easy to get along with and they treat you like a real person and a friend rather than just a number. 
- The hardest part of the job is finding ways to organize and plan daily schedules in order to complete multiple tasks on time throughout the day.
- The most enjoyable part of the job is that it is a dynamic position that gives you the opportunity to learn and try something new every day. No two days are the same.

Foremans and lead hands are all young, which doesn't necessarily mean incompetent, but most of them are inexperienced.  They have apprentices (including 1st and 2nd year) for lead hands and telling journeymen what to do and how to do it.  Some of them only in the oil fields for only a couple months or so.  Older journeymen out doing all the grunt work and working butts off and still they want you to do more.  Safety, what's that?  Just get out there and get to work.  Worried more about meters of tray a day than safety and a person's health. Only a matter of time before someone gets hurt in a bad way.  No wonder they have a huge turnover rate.  I've seen like 10 people quit or get fired in a little over a month and only 30 electricians on site.  More leaving soon.
If you are a journeyman and like an apprentice tell you what to do and slave drive you.  Then this company is the best for you.  If you are an apprentice with limited to no experience in the oil fields and want to move up the ladder quickly, again this company is for you!

This company makes you do a 'fit for work test' prior to employement.  The test is a highly intrusive medical and medial history questionnaire and requires you to strip almost naked and be felt up and put through various strenuous physical mobility and ability tests by someone who may or may not have taken some kineaseology courses and who is an amateur at best, not professional.  It is like discrimination before you even get hired, and should be outlawed.  The people they hire as managers and supervisors really have very little professional experience, but huge egos and high expectations, and are generally all very rammy, and cant plan anything ahead.  If a safety concern gets raised, you can rest assured that person will make the layoff list.  If you are good at being a brown-noser and taking every shortcut necesscary to get a poor quality job done quickly, and dont mind putting your health and safety at risk, and that of others around you,  then you will thrive working for this company.

Being laid off is not fun for anyone.  Being laid off because of where you are located in the country is even less fun.  
Personally, I always give my employer what they are paying me for - a hard day's work.
Integral Energy doesn't seem to appreciate that and instead make decisions based on how much your flight costs them.  The day I was laid off, for example, new hires from Alberta and BC were still joining our crew!  I understand how the economy works, but loyalty is a two way street.
The guys I worked with, including most of the foreman, were good guys.  The management as a whole was ineffective and weak willed.  The main motivational tool was the constant threat of being fired.
I have a feeling, when the oil prices rebound, Integral Energy will be scrambling for workers!

This place is more like a pawn shop, they provide you nothing. Supervision will humiliate you, disrespect you. working here was a nightmare. unsafe nd lower level of job security. if you say something or write about safety  issues, you are gone. supervisors are not trained here for the leadership role, they do not communicate, extremely arrogant duds. 
They can dismiss you anytime they want to, run this site at CNRL like a MAFIA, superintendent  is like a DON, a young fellow, who act like EL Chapo, they don't say here, HI Or Good Morning,.  they fire and dismiss anyone they don't like the face or color, extremely cult like structure. 
For this review they want to take me  to court, I am available and will prove it.  Stay away from this company and Good Luck

I really enjoyed my 6 months at Integral on the LNG job site. It was a great experience and ran very well, though the company does have an issue of not being the best organized, at least for the site I was on.

They are very open to new ideas, management is extremely good and their work and safety culture is amazing. 

The only complaint that I actually have with Integral is if you are wanting to get your hands on stuff like Switch Gear or Panel installs or anything along those lines, don't. They have their core guys and they are treated completely different than other guys.

I cannot recommend enough, how much I recommend working for Integral. They are a good company and a great crew and I hope one day to get the opportunity to head back.

If you enjoy:
18+hr travel days, unpaid
Arriving at camp after 11pm, not being fed dinner, then having to wake up at 4:45am
Sitting in airports for several hours waiting  for connecting flights
Having to most likely pay for your own flights, especially if your flights costs more than $450
Paying your own baggage both ways
Being super rushed but yet no one knows what they’re doing
Working in an environment that lacks proper safety and training

...Then this is the company for you!

In all seriousness, this company lacks proper management, training, safety, incentives, and on top of all that- You have a ton of costs to pay out of your own pocket.

Work elsewhere, trust me.

A typical day at work is starting it off with a tool box meeting and then a tail gate meeting with the crews, then collect the paper work from the day before and input the data into the system, what happens the rest of the day can change anytime we just hope no one gets hurt.
I have learned a lot on this job and the biggest thing is how to approach people and how you talk to them, treat people as you would want to be treated.
This Project has the best management and co-workers you could ask for we have all worked together for so long its like working with family.
The hardest part of the job is being gone from home and not seeing your family in person every night.
The most enjoyable part of my job is having a laugh with the my co-workers.

Worst job ive ever had hands down. Very cheap to the point of wanting workers to buy specialized tools. Some of the office management is Ok to deal with but superintendents and General foreman in the field are too young, immature and hot headed and make the moral of the workers miserable. The only people I know who like this company have only ever worked construction and not knowledgeable enough to realize they are being treated like garbage. Only work here as a absolute last resort and don't count on this company to have your back in any situation
