Worked as a Junior Mechanical Engineer for roughly one year. I found the organization to be very disorganized. Cubicle style work environment but it is right on the water. Nobody really seems that happy here, just kind of stuck in the 8-5 grind.

You will most likely get stuck doing a lot of repetitive work and receive very little additional training or the chance to help out elsewhere. Very much a revolving door work environment with high turnover. Pay is low, benefits average and hours are not flexible

They are a fairly all-inclusive design firm so you will get to chat with all the different disciplines and get to see the design process from start to finish as well as energy modeling and working with LEED and Passive House standards which is good to learn.

Be very careful about this particular opportunity. The office management are horrible specially the manager for this particular position.
They can easily let you go without any reason. Moody and not stable personality.
Pay is extremely low and demand is too high. 
Work pressure is terribly high as manager wants to save money from the budget allocated for projects. There are lots of rumors around this company (Vancouver office). 
Waiting for an opportunity to escape as soon as I can.

Integral is a lousy place to work. They promote green buildings and sustainability however I am not sure they are quite as sustainable and they would like to let on. The work life balance is promoted as being great however when you work there the culture in the office is actually to work ridiculous hours. When I was working there I was working anywhere from 10 to 12 hours a day and weekend trying to get drawings completed and was only allowed to bank my hours as straight time. The people on certain teams are friendly and nice to work with however it is a very boys club company and quite toxic.

Integral are an innovative MEP firm who have delivered some of North America's most notable sustainable, high performance buildings. The culture is open and collaborative despite the impact COVID 19 has had on the day-to-day aspects of the business. 



If you are on a team with great leaders, then you'd have a great experience here. Starting salary is lower than market, but if you have experience you can negotiate for a better package.

If you're on a team with poor management though, run.

High pressure workplace things move fast
Salary is low compare to the industry average
Closer to your manager and you will get the meat
Half day friday but ppl stay late
Not much grow after three months unless you can transfer team

Lack of support from peers, not enough training for entry level, communication is not genuine under the monitor of HR.  Hard to find support from your team lead they are always busy. Coworkers are Great people

Would not recommend. They preach one team but is every individual team for themselves.
No one is there to help as it has a negative effect on their teams utilization.
VP says one thing and never backs you up.

looks like this company trying to win the projects with lower bids, and then put pressure on its employees. employee have to finish the work in a short time, they don't care the quality at all.

Great company, fast paced, lots of opportunities to learn. Many different and interesting projects. Great company for young engineers to develop good skils and gain first hand experience.
