The mangers care very little about their sales team if they are not hitting their high standards. The manger of tens talks down or about other employees. Most of the job is cold calls rather than the hot leads that are promise. All hot leads go to the manger first making increasingly harder to make quotas . There is very little to none caring for the clients and protential members rather they are seen as a means to a end , with that in mind the exspectation from day one is to close 50 % of all sales the comes in . This is very much the truth at the Glenora World Health in Edmonton, where the manger will  threaten you will a stack of resumes that can replace you at anytime. Not wroth minimum wage .

Good job. I enjoyed this job. I was very busy as I was Inventory Control Associate for World Health, Spa Lady for Calgary, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park. Basically, I received and completed order via, data base or M.S. Outlook 2007 e-mail. I also responsible for tracking all distribution from inventory to all clubs individually on M.S. Excel Spreadsheets. Also I maintained record updating on   M.S. Excel Spreadsheets. Also I, order marketing materials from the marketing department and vendors. Organized inventory stock room and uniforms for all brands.

People who work at the gym are friendly and helpful. Equipment for classes are always available and tidy. The most enjoyable part of the job is when clients tell you the class was great or that they got a great workout. The most challenging part of the job would be to help individuals correct form while keeping track of time.

I had worked at the company for a few years and absolutely the best place to work for. Work life balance with fun and great people to work with. Love the fitness culture and wish I am still working there. The only reason I left was because I had to leave the country for personal matter, otherwise I will stay for a very long time.

The job is rewarding as you are helping people with health and fitness.  A fun environment makes for an enjoyable work day. However, expect regular 10 hour days and a strong sales culture. Composition is strictly based on sales, rather than on overall success as a manger.

Good, friendly, and interesting place to work. Some facilities are in the upgrade process. Headquarters offices would require some updates and new furniture and equipment.

IFH was a very positive company to work for. the Clubs are generally well managed. New Employees receive lots of training and support. 

Hard working sales people will quickly see opportunity for advancement.

My position was interacting with other employees, accounting functions and meeting deadlines.
Work pays the bills, but the people you work with are what matters most.

Most toxic work environment you could find with extremely unprofessional managers. You will be expected to pick up shifts, stay late and come in early with no overtime or  supplemental pay.

No work/life balance. Barely any pay. Worst people to work around, they make you feel so bad about yourself. They constantly tell you you're not good enough. I had a terrible experience at more than one location.
