Small/medium family business with dreams of grandeur. 
You will have to punch in and out at fixed hours even at lunch hour. 
HR will not remove those closes from the job offer and will enforce them later despite promising you that it's only a formality. 
You are expected to do overtime and be on call outside business hours, even when the workload is light and manageable. 
Cameras all around to monitor you from every angle.
You will be yelled at/called in for emergency meetings on a regular basis to deal with upper management's priority of the day.
Upper management's priorities are usually centered around office redesign and the gossip coming up the grapevine.
You're directly recruited from the competitor but surprised with a non-compete on your first day of work (well after having negotiated your compensation).
You make it clear that you're not bringing new clients with you but then get blamed for lagging sales because you couldn't bring your old clients.
You're expected to participate in on-boarding new hires despite the fact that you had only just started 6 weeks earlier. 
When your on-boards can't deal with the culture and resign, you get blamed despite your best efforts to shelter them.
You are expendable unless you manage half the active projects in the company.

If you’re a designer, they do have some interesting projects and production processes, free will and project control in the design process is encouraged, floor production staff are kind people and multicultural. 

Pretty bad old fashion management, disorganized, poor communication between departments, specially project management and design department, all projects are rush and ASAP, overtime is a norm and is hard to be rewarded somehow, high staff turnover.

- Good place to learn and play with manufacturing process and materials.
- Floor and technician workers are really kind people.
- Multicultural work environment. 
- Poor management and leadership, you don't feel like making a part of a team, just a worker that needs to produce. 
- Owners are cold and distant, they make you feel and know that you're not at the same level.
- Project management process is chaotic and time lines are often under estimated and unrealistic.  
- Be ready to make over time and not to be compensate.

The company itself is actually quite okay. However, the department supervisors are terrible. They constantly verbally abuse the employees, yelling all the time and having no patience to talk. They don’t respect you or listen to what you’re asking, always treating you as if you’re just another random person. Without a doubt, the only real problem in this company is the team leaders, especially the production team leader in the cabinet department.

Everyone is micromanaged at all times. Insanely high expectations with little to no help and/or specialized training for very specific tasks.
No one is willing to help anyone else out...no teamwork even though they pride themselves on that aspect especially during interview process.
Needs to be open to new ideas about how to perform certain duties.

If you want to work at a place where they reward your hard work then IVC is the place to be. Great pay and good people are the most important things to look for so look no further . Room to advance is an understatement , if you show that you're willing to work hard and take plenty of initiative you will not be overlooked.

The company is constantly evolving and growing. Albeit it goes through growing pains at times, management/staff work hard to get through it allowing it to be successful. 

Time management skills are challenged and an employee needs to be organized. 

Good work and dedication is recognized by upper management.

High turnover, people quit after few months. Bad management (upper management constantly disagree among themselves) and you are stuck in the middle. and left hanging most of time. No professionalism, no training, no showing good example. People always complaining of bad organizing and gaslighting. You end up doubting your own skills and being miserable. Toxicity at its best.  

Good work team, interesting projects, and nice offices.  Bad management, all designers  are overloaded with work and doing too much multitasking. You gotta do the shift for after hours for long time and you have to stay at night if you get a call even 1 min before your shifts ends. Terrible salary!

No boring day, interesting products and business, great team and work atmosphere.  
Possibility to grow within the company, always learning. Managers and workers are easily available to help you out. Tasks are various.
