What is the best part of working at the company?
I really liked that there were lots of hours available to work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I find the bosses extremely stressful to work for and all this is for a very very low pay.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Go go go, get as much done for very little pay and even if you've already been there 10 or 12 hours and burnt right out they'll say oh we will finish that one and that one and then go home and then last minute they'll change schedules and make you come in on Saturday even though you were supposed to be off and had plans.  It's all about making the money for the top people and the bottom people are just slaves.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressful, often very very long days, bosses getting upset at you or shooting little weird comments to add stress to your day when it's only sometimes half a day old

Poor pay regardless of your experience and you will never feel like you're part of a team. Rude coworkers with one single goal which is accumulating hours regardless of the productivity and you will always feel like you're new and a stranger.  Poor management, they will never put you to good use or solve your problems or work problems. If you're seeking a position in this industry, take my advice and find somewhere else. I've worked with them for over 6 months and always had hope that things could be different than what everyone says. But I was wrong. Listen to yourself and the people around you, Find somewhere else or you will have a terrible experience that you will regret later.

This company underpays and overworks their employees. If you feel like sacrificing your entire life for a company that doesn't care about you then you've found the right place. When they say that you'll be put on salary - refuse! You'll end up working for less than minimum wage because you are required to work an outrageous amount of hours. I worked 64 hours in 5 days. The bigwigs micromanage everything and therefore create total chaos and disorganization for everyone! This company is a total gong show. They have an incredibly high turnover rate because they don't appreciate or care about their employees at all! Worst company to work for EVER!!!

I worked here for about a year. I had two great supervisors. I did not get to know the others. I showed up to work everyday, on time, never missed a day and perhaps that’s why my experience was good compared to others? If you don’t show up or you don’t want to learn and work, obviously you will be yelled at or let go. The hours are long (11-14) but those are the same hours I am working now at another construction company in Sudbury. I was not a slave, I chose to work the hours in order to gain experience and knowledge. I have no regrets working here.

typical day was safety talk, crushing/ screening different materials, making blend and storing it. I learnt many  things at this particular place because i had a good supervisor who tought me well. Needless to say management was exellent . Co-workers were great toget along with we worked as a unit. Hardest part of the job was to service equipment such as oil changes, changing screens in the screening plant and changing screens and impact bars in the impactor. Most enjoyable part of the job was just being in my loader doing what i do i just love being in that seat getting stuff done.

The company is flawed  Right from ownership down to the foreman. You are yelled at and questioned about using washroom or porta- johns, during an expected minimum 14-16 hour day you can not stop to eat at any point without being yelled at to "stop f***in around" never get a coffee break and if you do get a coffee you are expected to keep working and drink no the fly. Foreman will take hours off when they feel that you haven't worked hard enough. Management are yes men to the owner and usually don't have any idea how to do the actual jobs. So much more to say. Stay away at all cost 

Working for Interpaving Ltd. was a great learning experiance.  I Assisted with Set-up and operation of a conventional survey and GPS equipment.I Prepared accurate field notes, and paid attention to detailed instructions. I also cleaned and maintain equipment, maintain supplies, stock company vehicle, and ensure 
necessary physical resources were available to me in the field. 
I enjoyed working with others to get the job done and enjoyed working outside.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Going home. And being home on weekends.

Management is all old school crazy people who know very little.

Everyone hates their jobs and hates their bosses.

Being stressed out and over worked for little pay.

The biggest advantage to this place is your always short staffed so you don’t have to worry about being fired. The shifts are long. but my coworkers and good supervisors make up for that. If you don’t have thick skin I would say work somewhere else though because your coworkers and supervisors can be tough, especially the owner and his head supervisors.

Lack of organization from surrounding members makes the job a stressful ordeal.

Flagged for 12 hours received a 15 minute break in return. often supervisors get angry and you will often get critisized for your work
