I worked for interserve cleaning a school for just under a year, I enjoyed working with my colleagues, however most months they would get loads of our tax codes wrong no matter how many times they were informed of the right one, the pay was great for me as a young student as they pay the national living wage to everyone rather than the minimum wage for your age group, however there were no incentives and overtime often got missed off, at Christmas they offered the caretakers at the school we cleaned a Christmas party however didn’t organise and pay for one for the cleaners who often worked with the caretakers anyway which was a shame so had to organise our own, there were also a few incidents with a manager being inappropriate however nothing was done, luckily he left on his own accord a few months later. For me the hours fitted in well with college and was good pay for someone of my age however they look at staff as replaceable and just numbers rather than assets to their business which caused high labour turnover.

Lazy supervisors and lazy managers not a trustworthy company to work for. Supervisor who had no idea what he was doing and managers not willing to put their mistakes right 3 caretakers left within a month of each other because off one person (Newly appointed supervisor) 3 months of meetings complaints and nothing was resolved. Left a sour taste and decided to quit after having enough of the bs

Never get paid the correct amount that people have worked for. 
Although staff are friendly ( sometimes ) they can be grumpy, selfish and have no consideration of others around them. 
Poorly managed and most certainly not organised.
Long hours with hard work and not enough staff to help you.
Don’t work with this company it’s not worth your time.

My Team leader was a very friendly and reliable person. A good level of training and support was provided. As long as I put in 100% every shift and let them know of any issues I didn't feel under any unreasonable level of pressure.

Working as cleaner in an universitty is very difficult because can not keep up tidy. 
have to be looking every 30 min and always is dirty , full time job for one person ! 
Interserve is a big company give vouchers but i never used it .

I worked for Interserve for 3 years and I really enjoyed my time there .the staff were friendly and my colleagues were a great team to work with.i would definitely work there again.

Labouring summer holiday job , part time,  temporary,  8 hrs per day, July to Sept 2019 between finishing GCSEs and starting A levels. General sweeping, lifting, carrying, cleaning work.

Worked for a year and a half as a touch point cleaner, atmosphere was relaxed and the work was rewarding- nothing I'd do at work ever stressed me to take it home with me.

I have enjoyed my time at Interserve and love the people I worked with. I have extended my HR skills considerably and have learnt lots from some great people.

i didn't like it because the pay wasn't worth the job the managers where unprofessional and very un organised. After 3 months they sacked me for no reason.
