A typical day at work includes a very routine morning procedure- cashing in tills, tidying the store. Then the projects begin, we are always changing things in the store- remerchandising and revamping things to make them more visually pleasing as well as increasing access to products for the customers. Myself specifically in charge of the entire footwear department would carry out the following daily routine: ensure entire footwear wall was full of display shoes (no holes on platforms), all laces tucked into shoes and shoe forms placed in every shoe, ensuring A- Frames were filled and tidy, and re-sizing and putting stock away in the back, and finally making sure that I was up to date on all of my product knowledge in order to train everyone else in the product. Although sometimes physically demanding the overall environment of this work place was phenomenal. Probably the best management team I have ever worked with, also.

I had to get out of there, for my own sanity I could not allow the new manager to treat me and my co-workers like that. So I left, I was promoted to shipper receiver, and I had to fix the mistakes of the last two shippers who did not know what they were doing and did not know how to file paperwork. My coworkers were not motivated at all. the hardest part of the job was fixing the mistakes of the previous shippers. the most enjoyable part of the job was when I finished fully receiving product I was very good at my job but the management was very unfair, they did not pay overtime they did not bank hours. I would not advise working for Intersport.

I was hired in December and told I was to be a permanent part time employee... I had nearly full time hours (which was great!) but as soon as Christmas was over they cut me down to 5 hours a week!

amazing job doing all kinds of race affiliations and securioty related, as well as setting up race related and ads etc, getting sponsorships, meeting new pwople, hiring people to set up races in different cities and such.

Really awesome part time job, with a very easy going and fun staff, the management was awesome and really understanding and out going, the most enjoyable part of the job was the staff

not to many mechanics just 2 per car

it was a lot of fun doing the endurance races for the ALMS they pay my ticket from Canada to Virginia and to Florida for Sebring I met them in Canada for the 6h of Mosport

This was a fun environment to work in. I felt appreciated for the work I completed, by always being told and reminded. Everyone got along. The pay could have been better.

Fun, enjoyable place to engage with customers and develop my customer service and social skills. Applicable skills that I may bring to the oil and gas industry.

Typical day at work would be dealing with customers, always making the store look approachable and fun. Learning about new sports and selling products, If your an athlete, this is the work place for you.

A typical day at work was staying up all day waiting for clients. The most enjoyable part of the job was when there was no client and we could play with the balls because it is a sport store.
