Interstate Batteries

Was hired for hotshot driver but was also given a dedicated route of customers to stock. Was okay at first then changed to hotshot,customers and about 3 ecostations for cores per week. Way too much work put on one person to do but they never really cared about the stress that caused for the drivers.

I'd start the day with loading my truck with batteries and making calls to the clients who I was going to see that day on my route. All in all the job was a great learning tool on expanding my customers, creating long and meaningful relationships with existing customers and perfecting time management skills.

I worked at the Brampton location for a few years, the owner is very honest and very supportive of his employees. The work is hard at times but you have to remember you are delivering automotive/truck batteries so to be expected. I enjoyed my time at interstate batteries, good all around atmosphere. 

Great company great company values however if you live in California you probly won't be able to make it on the pay they pay a bonus yearly however Kinda hard to attain, sales department is pretty laid back, Not really high pressure However everything caters to Dallas the corporate office.

Good  steady business and work 
Independent  planning each day for work load. RESPECTFUL OFFICE SPACE. GREAT BENIFITS. Steady  pay raises.  HELP available  immediately  when  needed.

Enjoyed my time there. Good work out. GM really nice. Other manager surrounding him was a know it all, but knew nothing. Facility needed to be upgraded. Lack of space. Warehouse guys always seemed to be left out of bonus structure.

Day includes driving to customers within territory and maintaining inventory including restocking and dealing with warranty issues.
Generally working alone on the road but remain in communication with dispatcher and manager throughout week.

I Felt overworked and underpaid in their hotshot driver position for the entire time I was there especially during the winter season. Even with increase in workload I was refused an increase in pay.

Was okay at first but then just got boring and repetitive. Over worked and understaffed. Pay wasn't good at all either. Still had some good times there but honestly wouldn't recommend working in the warehouse, driving is where the moneys at.
