The biggest con of this place was Management ! Management was not respectable of your personal life. They were not accommodating to days off and only schedule 1 week in advance which does not leave room for planning since you never know if your day off was approved/ you had a job. They pick favourites and cater to those people regularly. I have never worked with such a crew before and I have lots of customer service experience. Only reason I am writing this is to advise you to choose something better because once your in they are nice but eventually will turn and you will see. Its a basement environment so be prepared to bring a blanket in the Winter!

Hours 7:45am -10pm

The most enjoyable part of the job was coming in when most management has left the office and we could breathe without them listening to our personal conversations which was often ! 

They say its not a competitive environment yet they have a top 3  sales board and give them KODOS... but than no one else gets recognition.

Do you like being overworked, unappreciated In a négative micromanaged environment? Do you like being underpaid, no life work balance, irregular hours and not knowing if your going to have a job next week? Do you like having information overload, constant criticism and never meeting your impossible sales targets? Would a moldy, dark and dirty basement be the office of your choice?  Then apply....

Guest Services provides a number of different job possibilities suitable for adventurous young people just starting out in the work force or for flexible, outgoing, retired/semi-retired people looking to be part of a pleasant resort work culture.

I find the management to be encouraging, flexible and supportive of a positive and even fun work environment.

Customer service jobs typically begin at minimum wage, but I understand that small increments come with years of experience. If you like outdoor adventure, the benefits are generous.

Overall, Blue Mountain Resort is a great place to work.

Staff are treated horribly.
Management is extremely unprofessional.
Pay is terrible.
Hours are far from flexible and management is not willing to make changes regardless of the circumstances.

I had a hard time with a lot of the employees because they didn't do they're job correctly so I picked up the slack. but I had an amazing boss that work just as much as me.

Either over worked\not working. 
Management picks favourites.
Doesn't accommodate you as an individual. 
"Team work" is strived for - not present

Management are arrogant, egotistical and borderline hostile. The company is like Big Brother on steriods. Work here if you hate happiness and want your self esteem and confidence ruined.

The company is too big, too many mangers and directors.it is very hard to make change happen because the approval process is weighed down by the top heavy team.

A shame they were sold, a rare work environment where effort was recognized and appreciated. A  little old boys’ club but not excessively so. Miss it!
