Would get told one thing and then something completely different from someone else. Management would not communicate with each other. No notice when laying off, and bad in-lieu pay, no severance pay. No communication after. No advancement opportunities. Overworked with little pay, no bonuses or promotion opportunities (was lied to about being told I’d be able to grow and advance in the company). Very little training provided.

My experience at Intricate as a field employee was one of absolute, pure chaos. From closing the support shop that maintains equipment, to vendors accounts always being on hold, this place is frustrating to work at. 

Poor communication, poor sense of security, poor leadership. The majority of the people who cared to do their jobs left to greener pastures, as I should have done sooner. 

Having "we are good people" as a core value is a scary red flag. 

While working as a field technician for Intricate Group I learned lots about the oil field, and emissions. The people I worked with were great and management was just a phone call away. The work-life balance is fair for it being an 8 days on and 6 days off shift scheme, with lots of travel involved. I would recommend Intricate Group to Tech Savvy people with aspirations to grow their skill sets with opportunities to advance and education benefits being available.

They add silly things to offer letters like 6 months probation then at 4 months give you a new offer letter with a raise then put you back on probation for another 6 months 
Then lay you off just before Christmas and just as your benefits kick in so they don’t have to pay for any
Very disorganized and very useless 
Most people are lazy 
The boss constantly telling people to be lazy and not work as hard as they should 
Very frustrating company 
Trucks in poor conditions always breaking down 


Best company I’ve personally worked for in electrical construction good pay and living compensation. I learned lots and hope to work with them again on future projects.

Great concept.  Poorly executed, no employee support, management was disconnected from the field.  Quota was the only thing that mattered.  Could not trust management.


Oil field company with big ambition, but lacks quality management to pull it off. Not the worst company I've worked for but far from the best. Poor project management.

The culture within this company was great, everyone was easy to get along with which made for good productivity at work.  The hardest part of the job was having to travel as much as was required.

A company that has supported growth, development and advancement on a professional level and has provided great support on a personal level. I enjoy working with all of my co-workers. 

I worked here on summer break and was able to learn new skills. My trainer was very patient when teaching me the techniques. you will learn a lot especially if it is your first time being on the field.
