My typical day there was picking orders, loading and offloading trailers/trucks, replenishing bins, putting away the product to its designated bin location. would help out with the shipping and receiving department because of my experience and skills.
What i learned is, that quickness inst always the key. move at an efficient pace for yourself but in a safe manner. Safety is always first.
Management is great because they are there to make sure the operation of the company is running smooth and safe at the same time.
I always try get to know my coworkers , im the nice guy but also im not the one that there to talk and socialize. im there to do my job.
The hardest part of the job to me is trying not to make a mistake, but doing that makes u make mistakes.
The most enjoyable part of the job is waking up every morning wanting to go to work because you enjoy the enironment and co-workers you work with.

Acted as a first point of contact for all IT related issues.  Learned D365. Management will first show you that it's a great company to work for. But unfortunately, it's not. They are there because they are earning double or triple your salary. You can get fired anytime unless you are member family as it's family owned business. No room to grow. No overtime pay and in employement contract it's usually 3 weeks of vacation but they will only give you two week ( according to them it varies) but there is no transparency in salary or vacation or time off. It's hard to please family owners as their mentality is that you are replaceable if you ask for growth or more salary.

Good Hourly rate,Close to the Highway, alot of options for food

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of real world Leadership, Management does not get there hands dirty, Friday 2pm start , 11pm Finsh then in for 6am Saturday, not good for the body.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
 There about Family & friends, not really professional @ all so this will affect you in all aspects. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Ups & downs, if your close or related to a higher up then you'll have a chill shift & that resulted in more work for certain people.

All decisions are made by the owner who gives no say to any managers . Consider this a short-term position however you will have the opportunity to learn and better your career if you're a hard worker and a quick learner. Promotion are  given to family members who will delegate out this will add more and more to everyone's plate but you or will be expected to get done with less and less time to do it.   Overall it is a sound company that will be around for years to come but the environment is toxic and and very stressful.

I’ve been working for this company for over 1 year. I’ve really enjoyed my time here, it’s a great company to learn and grow. They are growing very quickly and are always looking to bring on good people. The company is fair with their staff although at times it feels like they micromanage. Management is more than fair, they always accommodate where they can. HR is really involved in the ops of the business which is really good, if not, how could she really understand how to help staff. She is really hands on.

IHL gives the opportunity to each individual to stretch their wings and test their potential. The company has continued its rapid growth in the past 7 years which i have been with the team and there is always room to learn and grow. Those who take the time to learn the business will be part of the continuous expansion into new locations, industries, and products.

This was the 1st company that i loved to work for. sadly the let me go. i loved to work even if i worked hard i didn't care. it was fun was a team play environment, never the less everything changed when they let a temp guy boss around everyone even the full time. if you get defamed here. not even an investigation. you mess up two times in a row you will get suspended or fired. ived seen allot of good guys work here. sadly no job culture is present.

Workplace culture has no growth, a lot of people there were working for more than 10 yrs but still in the same position. No salary increase.. they always say that they really valued safety but its not.. i worked as an Order picker and they gave me an expired harness, and 3 gloves that you will use for the rest of the employment. the Supervisor will take advantage of you, they will ask you to do things that 2 people are needed to have it done.

Because they are privately owned they feel they can do whatever. Management and ownership are micro managers. They are they type of company that would let a hard worker go without cause in the middle of a pandemic right before Christmas. They are they type of company that would rather have their employees 30-40 in the office when they can be working from home. They will use you and if they think they can get better they drop you. HR and ownership are in the same boat.
