Executives far too involved in the "day to day" and as a result most work under an undue amount of pressure. Directors largely do not trust their managers or subordinates to do things the "Iovate way" and are all too willing to "interfere" in the day-to-day. As a result staff work in constant fear of reprisals, many of whom simply leave. 

Managers willing to raise their voices at subordinate staff, and with a relatively young workforce who may not always have the emotional maturity to be able to deal with that, nor should they have to. 

Staff have presented suggestions for improvement only to have their managers/directors take credit for the idea. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Friendly coworkers, for me was the location, all building  confort, the payment is weekly 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
To much work doing other people responsibilities, lack ok training, pressure to do everything faster and faster, their is no responsibility for those who do mistake, and always if tomorrow you still their, their is no loyalty at all, today I need you and tomorrow don’t 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly with some coworkers and their is a lot hallway speech behind you.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive in the morning start working, meanwhile there is always a lot of people wasting time and talking, and all work has to be done by yesterday, sometimes their is a change of priority and is a lack ok comunication

Senior Managers are not are not supportive. Employees are not valued for the work they are done.Turnover are high and the letting- go process not handle well.  No trust among employees. Job security is not evident. New Senior Manager hired do not have the skill set or experience to manage team. Rather makes a mess when gets involved. They prefer to micromanage rather that allow creativity and trust. Employees in the same level are treated differetly by the same senior manager. Is that fair?

This was a very professional environment. High Volume payables which requires extreme accuracy and speed. I had the opportunity to interact with all level of staff in various department ex. Legal , Marketing, Sales, Production, HR and Exec department. 

The most challenging part of my job was at month-end closing since if one memeber of the team is out of balance we had to find the error before leaving.

The most enjoyable part is interacting with my vendors and assisting in developing AP matrices.

Lots of traveling across your territory. Great environment in office, lots of flexibility to work from home.

Traveling and making appointments was a typical day. Driving sales through emails and personal interactions was key.

Demos, giveaways and store training's are all part of the job and might incorporate parts of your weekends as well.

this was my all time favorite job. I had a lot of freedom with the packaging and my boss at the time was absolutely amazing! The downside of this job was the management was always looking to throw people under the bus, when a particular line of products would fail. It was also a rotating door for people. One of the company functions they said that the previous year had a turnover percent of 71%.

Iovate is good for the experience, but not for a long-term career. Advancement is as tricky to understand as the high turnover rate, which I believe is around 30-40%. The culture is very youthful, but can be immature and juvenile. I would suggest working at Iovate if you are young, patient, and plan to advance in the corporate world as a whole.

Management sleeping around with people working for them, childish and bully behaviour from upper management and a lot of people hired do not even have their BSc.
Work is about quantity and not quality which creates a horrible job work/life balance.
Advancement through job usually occurs if your are not a minority or are sleeping with the boss.

I really enjoy the working environment at Iovate. This is very much a "you get what you give" environment, which is great as I value my position and enjoy succeeding (then being rewarded for succeeding). Gym on site, free products, company paid benefits, great people. Overall, I really enjoy it here.

For some reason, a company that was owned by one person was always having structure usurped by a bunch of middle-management pity hires that interfered with those of us that were asked to join to take it to the next level.  The best solution would be for the C-level executives to allow those of us who were not "friends" of the founder to actually do our job.
