I've been part of the team for over 3 years now, and honestly, it's been great. The office is busy as it's one of the bigger dental offices in Guelph so we do work hard. We all work together and help each other out, which makes it a pretty sweet place to work. The other thing I like is how everyone on the team gets along well. 

The managing dentist is really approachable and friendly. He's a younger dentist, and puts together fun things for our team to do like softball or bowling or movie nights. Ive seen over the past 3 years that they genuinely care about both the patients and the staff which I appreciate.

As for the perks, we get some cool benefits like dental care for ourselves and our families, and a flexible schedule, which is a huge plus. They are accommodating with vacation requests as well. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience at Ironwood Dental Clinic and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to work. 😊






I've worked at this office for close to a year now as part of the front desk team. At first it was challenging as I did not have previous experience in the dental field and it is a large office. However I received good training from some senior members of the staff and I picked things up quickly. 

After the first month, I really started enjoying my job. We have a great group of people and everyone works together really well. The staff genuinely like each other. The culture i would say is teamwork oriented 

In regards to management, I read what is being said below but that hasn't been my experience. I had a personal issue that happened a few months ago and they were very understanding and gave me the time off I needed on short notice. They really care about the office and it shows and they've also shown they genuinely care about us on the staff. Overall, I've enjoyed working here very much.

Such a negative environment. Training is almost non existent and yet they expect you to know everything and they get mad at you when you make a mistake from lack of training. 
I have never seen such a high turnover rate. 
Cameras in office record your every conversation at all times.
You are not paid enough for the job.

Good office for a new grad, however almost no training is given. Definitely a sink or swim culture. I learned a ton, worked incredibly hard and was paid only $30 an hour. But, I needed experience and it got me in the door to a much better practice. The weak or lazy won’t last there long. 

Would not recommend to work here, management is terrible! Worst I’ve ever had, you will never be told anything positive. From getting yelled at, to being called names, and more, don’t put yourself through it! Not worth it, this place has the highest turn over rate I’ve ever seen.

Theirs 4 different doctors at this practice and you get a chance to work with all of them. All of them are enjoyable to work with. Best part for me is that everyone in the office helps each other out-- great teamwork between the dentists, hygienists, assistants and front desk.  

I was hired 2 months before the pandemic happened. When we returned to work slowly our management had many safety measures in place for our staff and patients which I really appreciated that they took so seriously. The job is fast paced, but very fun and the patients are great!!

High employee turnover at this clinic. Receptionists and assistants are not respected and must adhere to very strict regulation in the office, which can be normal, but one misstep here will cost you your job.
