I am busy all day at work, which I like because the time goes by very quickly. A typical day at work starts with me printing off my reports for the day and getting my work ready to process. Once all of my paperwork is in order, I take each driver's shift report and process accordingly. All of the input must be complete by the end of the day and all paperwork must be recorded and filed.

I enjoy my job at Irving as I like the routine and I like the fact that I am very busy and not sitting around looking for something to do. I enjoy my co-workers as many of them are like family to me. We all work well together and help each other out when it gets busy. The managers at Irving Energy are wonderful people. They expect us to get the job done, but they are very supportive and appreciative of our efforts when we get extremely busy. I do enjoy the fast pace.

I have worked in many different roles during my time at Irving, but the job that I enjoyed most was Service Dispatch. I enjoyed it because it was a busy environment, and I enjoyed the people I worked with as well as the customers. The technician's were wonderful to work with and we really all worked together as a team.

Fast-paced work environment with tasks expected to be completed by day's end.  My workload increased to the point of becoming unbearable and little assistance was given when I asked management for relief.  Vacation is only granted during the summer months as employees are expected to work late on Mondays and on weekends during the winter as well as to cover for other employees on vacation during the summer.  The cramped working conditions in the office made it very difficult to store and organize completed work as there was little time to properly label and store work due to the time restraints imposed by tight deadlines.

Job should be 22 $ hr minimum for the physical efforts and unfair work loads between propane vs heating oil/diesel.  Stay away from propane if home delivery involved or make sure you're paid more than oil \ diesel deliveries.

Underpaid. 
Company took back my RRSP since i was there less than 2yrs.
Like they needed it.
Co-workers you can't trusts. 
Manager is incapable of rectifying ongoing issues (5+yrs).
Trainer is a selfish individual. 

The job was okay at one time with the old Manager, less fun with the last manager that never return my test email or phone call, my work record was clean and did a lot for them. Love to install propane équipements and help truck driver on fuel delivery.

Fun work environment with supportive management and plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.  For a large company, it is very family oriented and does a lot of donations within it's surrounding communities.

Management sucks and has does not look after their employees.  The work is easy to understand but hard on the body with many small are even large injury often.  The pay is at the low part compared to other companies in the same industry.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great bunch of people who actually train you the right way too be safe 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing . You are not pushed and are encouraged to take the time to be safe

Management care and treat you as a person and not a number. Coworkers are also great and work to help you succeed
Negative is the hire new staff, rather then tribes previous employees hired on term contracts 

Excellent place to work and to grow as a safety professional. Long days but the complete backing of top management in regards to safety excellence.
