Amazing woman boss, very genuine, understanding, authoritative, and passionate about the products of the company and its ongoing success. The hours are great and stable. I also like the break times that we (employees) get. I do not mind working in the cold temperature or lifting salami and boxes, because the conditions are much less worse than a big meat producer- Maple Leaf, and it is much less hectic. I love the niche and authenticity of the business. The unique part is the outlet retail store within the factory. True love and care is put into all of their salamis and sausages, and its unique to be a part of the making and packaging of the meat and there completion of customer orders.

Worst management I have ever had the misfortune to work for. They blame you for everything even when they made the mistake. No people skills, if you are hurt on the job they blame you rather than take ownership for providing a safer work environment. Highest turnover of employees I have ever seen. Management provides you with the bare minimum of holidays and decides when you can take them. Benefits after a year of working there and they are the least that they can provide. Pay as little as possible so that they can live like royalty while you can barely get by. 

they say they have a high turnover rate because people don't want to work- they have a high turnover rate because they treat people like dogs. Management will start to give you instructions, get distracted and go do something else. Then get mad that you didn't do what they want and trying to tell them that they never gave full instructions is impossible. Your job will be threatened in hopes it will motivate you. Absolutely no people skills, they will be nice to you when they want something and it is very noticeable.

This family own business was given to them by grandpa. He ran his business like a hard working Italian from the old country. His kids run this place now and it’s just horrible place to work. The kids have to much money and spoiled. They disrespect employees because they don’t care. Money and greed is what this company is all about.

Great job with a great Sales Manager.  Management and culture has changed for the better. Less micromanaging. Met sales goals and targets. Company is progressive coming out with new products. Leaving the position to explore opportunities in a different field. 

I had lots of experience prior to starting here  they really don’t care what you’ve done prior it’s all about how little they can pay you to keep you on board  very stressful work conditions. Yelled at by the owners on regular basis.  No concern for your well being just get the work done and do as told whether it was right or not.

It’s not a friendly environment. There always watching you.They don’t have people skills. I thank God everyday that I no longer am part of that company  Very ignorant people skills I would  never recommend this place for work. It’s all about Greed.

Family run business, company management have no people skills, and are not open to new ideas. It was their way or the highway, management did not respect its employees. They have a great product but not much else.

Management stands over you and is not open to thinking differently then themselves.
Family run business that only cares about themselves and not about employees.
No advancement opportunity.

-managers were friendly and accepting
-lunch room was clean and many places to sit
- breaks were provided
- work station was always clean
-however it was quite cold
