It sounded so promising; a family  business  whose mission is to help others achieve their dreams by starting their own business and guiding them to success. 

To be trusted with a family’s dreams and life savings is a tall task. It is an honour and a privilege that demands dedication, loyalty, compassion and understanding; not a hidden agenda of making numbers and hitting national targets...

Worst leadership ever...high expectations, little training or guidance, continuous reprimands, no recognition of achievements. 

Employees were constantly bickering, plotting and had lost their sense of purpose...they had completely  disengaged. 

Franchisees had become jaded, lost trust, and questioned their decision. 

So much potential...a great group of people good at their jobs, wanting to contribute and eager to help.  

Good leaders guide, motivate and encourage their employees. 

If the company takes care of the employees, the employees will take care of the company.

The employer is cheap. The employer sincerely doesn't enjoy the chore of constantly buying new cleaning supplies from time to time so his workers could efficiently clean.
Management is satisfactory. The employer will clean with the worker the first time it gives a company to clean, but the worker shall not get too needy as the employer shall only clean with the worker one time only.
The salary is minimum wage and is only increased by how many companies you work per shift. Do not expect a promotion and companies are competitive and fairly difficult to obtain
The hardest part of the job is working with limited supplies because the employer doesn't enjoy buying cleaning supplies.
The easiest part of the job working with just the right amount of cleaning supplies.
It's cleaning. There is no sugar coating this field of work. The job is a dead end road with little to no benefits.

Staff is Overworked and underpaid! No appreciation of their staff, they will just keep piling the work on you until you reach a breaking point!  Don’t ever expect to leave early or take a break longer than 30 min because you will get docked every single minute. Owners are very stingy and uptight! Would like to see them loosen up a bit and enjoy all the money they made over the years. Expect to do a 5 week training course every Saturday for 8 hours for and not get paid for it. Lots of overtime hours and no days off! Expect to work during the holidays you are lucky if you get Christmas Day and Boxing Day off  but only if you give up the Remembrance Day holiday..

Do not work for this company in US or Canada. Thy hire you on the pretence that you will have a 9-5 job. It is never the case. You end up working till midnight with the cleaners and weekends on speciality jobs like waxing. Stress level for lost business is all on you. Their franchisees are treated worse. Gullible immigrant families trying to get their own business pay them 3times the value of the accounts they service and at the end when they are ripped off because they are now making minimum wage, janpro comes in a confiscates their accounts to sell yet to another sucker. Do not be part of the scam.

I wasn’t there to start my own business, but I worked for a awesome boss! Who gave me 6 years of experience in the cleaning field! It’s a very easy laid back job just keep the clients happy and your job stays easy! 
*have really good time management 
*build a relationship with the contact person and employees 
*have great verbal communication skills 
*speak fluent English 
*spend money on better equipment to progress your cleaning efficiency 

Friendly during the first several days of work towards the new hire(s). Afterwards, the atmosphere began to become awkwardly tense and silent.  Training was not properly provided. Yet, they let you go without a legitimate reason. Such as not making enough appointments, knowing 99% of the market would decline their service.

Small office, nice people but it is cold calling all day long every day and it is draining. 

The daughter comes in to help with invoicing and other job duties once a month, the son is in the office and on the road.  There is also one other gentlemen who works there that also calls occasionally and is out on the road for different quotes. 

Very small office, very boring, very tedious.

I worked at Jan pro for just under 2 years as inside sales. Corporate culture is not great and mainly cares about meeting sales targets. People had been let go before and they will do it again unless you make your numbers. The area director was fantastic and one of the best directors I have had. Otherwise it was an ok small regional company,

Manager used some negative terminology/ attitude towards women when no one was around, more than once. " Women are paid less because they don't have families to support" was the one that bothered me the most! 
I am disgusted to know employers STILL get away with this sort of behaviour. Yes it's illegal, but you have to catch them.

This company only cares about using people and customers like slaves.  You WILL NOT MAKE ANY MONEY as a franchise owner, they own you.  They will strong arm you and bully you around. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM ...TAKE THIS AS A WARNING AND RUN!!!!!!!!!!
