A Typical Day at Work:
A typical day was a mix of structured routine and unexpected challenges. There was usually a clear outline of tasks, but flexibility was often needed to respond to sudden priorities or team needs. The environment promoted productivity, though some days felt more reactive than proactive.

What You Believe You Learned:
I learned how to better manage my time under pressure, communicate clearly across teams, and adapt quickly to changing expectations. The role helped me strengthen both technical and interpersonal skills, particularly in problem-solving and collaboration.

Management:
Management was generally supportive and open to feedback. Expectations were clear most of the time, though there were occasional gaps in communication or shifting priorities that could have used more transparency. Constructive criticism was encouraged, which I appreciated.

Workplace Culture:
The workplace culture was collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on accountability. While mostly positive, there were times when silos between departments made cross-functional work a bit challenging. Overall, there was a sense of mutual respect and a shared goal.

The Hardest Part of the Job:
The hardest part was juggling competing priorities without always having clear guidance. It required constant adjustment and sometimes led to burnout during peak periods.

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job:
The best part was the sense of accomplishment after solving a difficult problem or completing a big project with the team. The camaraderie and shared success made the hard work worth it.

You won’t feel appreciated by your supervisor who does not know what supervising is. It is not about showing up by surprise to catch staff red handed as if staff are not doing their job or showing up in a hurry just to take pictures of the building as if they were “supervising”. It is more about giving support to staff, taking time to talk about work, bringing cleaning supplies and tools so that staff can perform their job properly, replying texts messages since they do not like to be “disturbed” by phone calls and so on.
Positive feedback: even though they pay minimum of what they can they will pay you without any delay. Another positive thing is that there is an app to clock in and out which is very efficient and you have all the payment info in there so it is easy to control your work hours. 
The head office is very organized and staff are “friendly” until you make any “request or complain” then they become dry and short when talking to you. 


I started working for WhiteRose in 2016 and to this day my salary has always been on time. WhiteRose uses top of the line apps and softwares. I have easy access to all my payments and information about my hours just by using my phone.
Management will treat you always as a member of the WhiteRose Family and let you grow in the company if you are responsible, reliable and always on time. I started in 2016 as cleaner and now I am a superintendent in one of the most beautiful buildings in Toronto. WhiteRose has given me so many good things like salary on time, opportunity to grow but most of all respect and love for what I do.

My typical day at work is always awesome, i talk with the Property Manager to view the day's pending activities and what have been done, always with respect both side.
I do an inspection in the entire building floor by floor, mechanical rooms, cleaning, etc.
I like working at WhiteRose because everybody is amazing, polite, i learn everyday something new, we have a good relationship, my supervisor answers my questions in the best way. I've worked in different companies but this is the first time i feel they take of me and everything, always positive. I'd like to say thank you all for your support and help! I'm interested to continue working for a long time! I'm lucky and grateful to find this job!

I worked at Whiterose Janitorial Service for a year, the company by itself is well organized, I never had any problem realated with my payment, vacation, schedule, co-workers . During this one year I gain a lot of knowladege as as Superintendent/heavy duty cleanner and the person responsible for that was my supervisor Belinda, I never saw an employee as committed with a company as she is with Whiterose, she was a example for me , I learned from her how to become a good leader, better employee and better person. It was a great place to work.

Working at Whiterose Janitorial was a positive experience. A typical day involved cleaning and maintenance tasks that were well organized and easy to follow. I learned valuable skills like time management, teamwork, and the importance of good communication. Management, especially my team leader, was supportive, approachable, and always clear in giving guidance. The workplace culture was friendly and team-oriented, which made the job enjoyable. The hardest part was handling some of the physically demanding tasks, but with support from the team it was manageable. The most enjoyable part was working with a cooperative group and seeing the results of our hard work.

I'm very happy at the company! It's a company with a very warm and caring attitude towards the people who work there! I've been working here for two years, and my knowledge and personal work have been truly productive! The company is widely recognized in the services sector, and I've noticed that customers are very satisfied with the company's service and support! Today, I believe that the image a company displays, regardless of its service, must reflect total professionalism and professional ethics! A typical day at work involves cleaning offices and common areas across several buildings. I’ve learned how to work efficiently, handle cleaning products safely, and meet client standards. Management provides clear instructions and the team is friendly. The hardest part of the job can be covering multiple buildings in a short amount of time, but the satisfaction of leaving spaces clean and tidy makes it worthwhile. I enjoy working independently and keeping the environment pleasant for others.

The most satisfying aspects may include seeing immediate results of your work, the sense of accomplishment after completing a tough job, and forming bonds with coworkers. For some, the independence and structure of the job can also be rewarding.
