Maintenance dept.can be a little more organised But i understand that is being addressed wish i could see it's final outcome.I worked as a handy man connected to the maintenance department.my duties were varied from day to day., I could start a day painting and end with welding something or changing a light bulb somewhere.It was challenging and exciting. I have great respect for the HR manager,she strengthen me when I was uncertain of my ability.Management is approachable and empathetic.

When I began working at Jems Coating, it felt very good in the beginning as I felt that the management staff was empowering and they trusted me to handle my work very well. I worked very hard there, however, because my supervisor was very rude to me and did not pay attention to my working efforts, I did not get acknowledged as much as I thought I would have.

I learned how to organize and pack and load certain parts.
I learned to be a leader when the line leader wasn't there.
The co-workers were always nice and helpful
Management was not the best
Hardest thing to do was telling people what to do when the line leader wasn't around.
The most I enjoyed about this place was being able to meet new people and learn new skill sets.

I learned how different type of automotive parts have their own rack to load on. The supervisor is really pushy and this is the night shift. He expects us to get everything done. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing how everyone is enjoying their position and people smiling

It was a fast paced environment and safety wasn't a concern when working. It was either work as fast as you can or you're out of there! They push you to your limit and also fight over where you work, no team work involved what so ever.

Jems coating is good well organized workplace and management at jems coating is awesome, I personally enjoy working with jems coating and i highly recomodate Jems Coating as best employer

I worked at jems for 2 years. Plant is very veryy hot in the summer but management tried to make it easier. Other time is good. U can meet nice people, only they have tight schedules.

I would recommend most people who have respect for there selfs to not go to a job like this, very bad experience here, most people that end up here happen to be from outside the country.

Jems Coating is an Electro Coating company. They paint the products of automotive parts. The environment is very friendly but no benefits. But it is good workplace overall.

make us work like slaves not even that great they dont care abouit our their workers. They tell us what they want finished and when they want it. They sometimes make fun of the employees
