Well run organization, support from management was well received. Strive to build team cohesiveness. Always striving for excellence. Quality products. Staff lunches on Fridays. Easy access to major highways. Friendly environment to work in, and staff are welcoming to new employees. Large company that offers family values and supports. When offering suggestions, management is typically receptive to the ideas of the employees. Company is often looking at ways to improve processes as well as procuring new products seasonally.  Wages were in line with other organizations within the industry. Staff discounts and free products occasionally were always a welcome addition to the perks of the company. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The company wide bonus was the best incentive.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management refuses to solve issues in the order process and pacing their staff to help during massive holidays is not something they take into consideration.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Positive as long as management and hr likes you.

Due to the nature of the business, it can range from really slow to really busy. Workers have to be able to adapt to this and multitask to get everything done in a fast-paced environment. That said, the people who work there are fantastic. It's a very friendly, community-like atmosphere that feels as close to home as a workplace can.

I liked working for this company the people were great it was like being a part of a family. unfortunately afternoon shift was not ideal for me and my children. overall I miss working for such a great company

Good balance between work and personal life. Weel defined functions for each position. The company encourages social activities for the employees and their families.

There was a fun creative atmosphere where you could learn and grow. Hofland is a leader in the floral and giftware industry. Setting trends and inspiring staff to achieve their goals.

Its simple. Was nothing to stressful, and the management was good. There wasn't a disconnect and it didn't feel as if there was a heirarchy.

Great culture! Sales reps really let you know what you need to do, management really keeps a great eye on you, and HR does a great job of listening to those who matter most.

One of Canada's best places to work. Great attitude and expertise in the floral wholesale industry from the ownership down. Loved this team.
