JRM Staffing

A few months ago I would have only given JRM two to three stars. The work is pretty consistent and easy. The hours and pay is decent, and usually the other guys I work with here are cool. But I would have said the owner was really intense and tough to deal with. I always got this was his Buisness, his way of running things, and he needed to come through for his clients, and wanted to be successful. But wow when you messed up here, or needed time off, or if there was a personal issue, it was like almost boom you’re done. No negotiation, no communication, no nothing. He would accept no excuse, give you no chances, and just didn’t trust anything you said it seemed. It was kind of stressful to make a mistake, because some of us really needed the work. So I thought that was a little hard and unfair, because a lot of us have personal things to deal with, and needed a bit of  understanding. And not all of us make up stories, or lie about why we are late, don’t show up, or need time off or whatever. But just when I thought he was this guy who didn’t care, and I thought things were the worst for me, he out of no where does something so big to help me better my personal situation. I still can’t believe he would even bother, and just like that he showed me not only does he care, but he has big heart, and that he does go over an above to help guys here if they show a real desire like he would say to be right, reputable and responsible. I have to give this guy a lot of thanks, credit, and an apology. I was wrong about him. This is not only a good place to work. The Boss is really a upstanding guy. If I could give a 100 stars I would. Recommended this company for sure.

I was hired specifically this summer to be a Flag Person, JRM helped me right away to get my flagging ticket. Provided me with all the necessary high vis PPE and equipment needed, and also clearly outlined my responsibilities and job requirements. As a female new to this type of industry, and working with predominantly male construction crews, I wasn't sure what to expect. But the clients and crews have been wonderful and respectful, very encouraging and supportive. The owner of JRM regularly comes to site to check up on his workers and definitely shows he cares about things, and tries to ensure were all as happy as possible,  He often brings drinks as well, which on hot days is awesome and appreciated. The other flaggers I work with are very cheerful and experienced. This has been a wonderful summer work wise so far, despite the weather at moments, and the Covid limitations.

One of the easiest but most thorough application process to get employed and placed I have seen. I found meaningful employment through this company and couldn't be any happier. The JRM staff have been very pleasant and helpful from the start. My personal desires, skills, experience, and work ethic mattered to them in getting me placed. I am glad that I made the choice to sign up with this specific staffing agency. It felt awesome to get hired on after my 90 days  with the company I am now with, and today I even received a congratulations  text acknowledging my accomplishment and their appreciation. It was my absolute pleasure working for this agency.


Like i mentioned in the summary, the people i have dealt with and worked with are standout people. There has been ample opportunties for me to learn new things, and be apart of different sites, and companies. I have made some good connections, and gained experience, skills, and confidence. The people at JRM and at the sites have always been encourgaging and all around positive with me. Its been a great work atmosphere, and good experience. They always seem to have more work coming up, so if your looking for work, id for sure give them a call, maybe it would be a good fit for you to.

I responded to a job ad posted by JRM in March, and right off I was quite surprised with how prompt and quick they were to respond to my texts and get me in to interview and get set up. I was overly impressed by their Covid safety protocols at the office, and how detailed their application was. it took a few days to finally get me out and on site, but they kept their word in keeping me updated, and followed though on what they told me. It’s been only a few weeks, but I'm happy with how things have been proceeding so far, the sites I'm placed at have been stellar, nothing but positives at this point.

Your typical day can very anywhere from an 8-12 hours a day. I learn something new everyday, especially what a real day of work really is. I’ve got my flangers ticket through them paid for by JRM. The management at JRM Staffing is very simple, understanding and reliable. This job is very task oriented, power driven, innovation, and strong leadership! The hardest part of my job is it can be very repetitive, exhausting at times, and can frustrating when things aren’t going right, but all those things are something we deal with in our everyday life. The most enjoyable thing of my job is that I get to meet a lot great people, some you look up too. I also enjoy the experience I gain along the way. 

This is my second experience working at JRM, and its still great. The work and my overall experience was pretty good the first time, but its been even better this time. Knowing there is a place like JRM around when you need work has been great. They have a ton of work right now, and the variety of clients and work has expanded. The wage is higher than last time, there is a lot of hours and overtime if you want them. The crews and guys/girls are overall really decent to work with. I really have to say JRM is a great company to work for. A positive recommend!

This place keeps me busy and working when I need it. JRM is a very reliable company to get hours with. They’re really approachable and easy to deal with, they pay great for agency, not many agencies pay this much for labour work. most importantly It’s just totally reassuring that they are always there when I need to depend on them for work. My work is seasonal, and has many shutdowns, so this is the best place to have for a back up, i have never not got work through them when needed. I highly recommend JRM.

Again, many options and opportunities for work at different clients. I stayed on the same job site and client as consistently as could be expected. There is not much room or chance for raises or advancements or any such thing, but you can be hired on by the clients, and I also believe they do the most they can for their workers, and find ways to be generous as possible, and go over and above what they need to when they can. when it comes to agencies, i dont think you can do much better.

My review so far of JRM is good. I have been working doing mostly furniture deliveries and then snow removal when it snows. The hours are super long some days. I like overtime but 15 hour days can be a little intense and a bit much. But work is work, so it’s all good. Overall I like guys I work with, there seems to be a good variety of clients. I’m paid what was agreed, and by etransfer on time each week on time. So my first few weeks have been good so far. If you need work, I’d for sure say to try JRM.
