At a typical day at work you will haul granite counter tops around clean water filters and operate an overhead crane both inside and out. With breaks few and far between you will find yourself very tired and frustrated at the end of the day. In my experience the employee treatment was terrible through rough days of a stressful environment conflict becomes unavoidable. Jade Stone is not a safe place to work during the night there is no access to the back entrance so if you were to get seriously injured it would take a while for the paramedics to get to you. Not to mention there is no first aid kit in the shop. The single most enjoyable part of your day will be your shortened lunch break. Overall this place gets a 1 out of 5 simply because any other place to work is far better than the hellish treatment you will endure here. At the end of the day the knowledge I took home from this place is that there is always better and not to take mistreatment in the workplace.

A significant portion of the workforce shares familial relationships, extending from management to field staff, contributing to a notably toxic workplace environment. Similarly, the manner in which employees are treated lacks professionalism. While there are limited opportunities for remote work, the industry demands overtime without commensurate compensation.

In lieu of salary raises, the company opts for informal rewards such as pizza parties and BBQ lunches, which lack professionalism and fail to address employees’ financial needs. Furthermore, the prevalence of office politics is exacerbated by the substantial involvement of family members within the organization.

Regrettably, my initial expectations of a career-enhancing experience have been overshadowed by a work environment reminiscent of office-related challenges portrayed in less favorable portrayals, such as those found in certain media productions.

Worked at Jade Stone or as I call it Shady Stone. Was an installer and it was a nightmare. Management took no responsibility and put all the stress on the installers and after killing yourself for this company they give you $10 dollars of scratch tickets as a Christmas bonus while management gets thousandths. Also had a serious injury there pulled muscles in my lower back all the way to my shoulder and when it happened i got back spasms and thet dropped me off at a ctrain station and told me to make my own way to the hospital when i could barely walk then tryed to put me in the warehouse and QC and still expected me to lift even though i wasnt allowed by doctors order to lift more than 10 lbs and got mad at me. They are a horrible money hungry no concern for employees well being. DO NOT APPLY.

Working at Jade Stone Ltd was a deeply disappointing experience. The company made repeated promises about promotion and career growth that never materialized, despite hard work and commitment. Management consistently showed a lack of care for their employees, and communication was often poor or dismissive.
The workplace culture is driven by long hours with little appreciation or support, and the pay and benefits are well below industry standards. Overall, the organization feels disorganized, poorly managed, and indifferent to the well-being of its staff. I would not recommend Jade Stone Ltd to anyone looking for a healthy or supportive work environment.

Not much coordination between departments, lots of bickering and little teamwork. Toxic environment, people are rude and condescending.

Management are concerned entirely with production and overlook worker safety and well being. Strong tendency to push blame downwards for issues. Poor leadership on their part. Naturally they are there to stay so nothing will improve.

Working outdoors is a plus, and the work isn't all that bad if its done safely, but the poor management and poor culture within the company makes the experience of working here a negative one.

Loved working here however, good thing I am an Entrepreneurial type personally as I had no direct training or access to customer files and Financials. I was hired in as a sales rep and was asked to become manager without a pay raise or a tracking system of any kind to even know if we had lost accounts or retained them. No communication led to a poor outcome working here. Also a lot of quality control issues. Counters would not arrive properly cut, etc. 

-Started day with broken material and finger pointing from previous shift.
-Constant changes to production scheduled (Causes headaches)
-Workers were improperly trained and were expected to learn on there own.
-Turn over rate was very high.
-Management only took into account for financial benefit and not employee comfort or safety.
-Hardest part: Clocking in and seeing paycheck
-Most enjoyable: Clocking out and going home.

Stressful for 12hrs a day they do not pay overtime

This was one of the worst company I ever work for. Nobody makes it pass the 3 month probation. When you get close to the 3 month you get fired. There is no training like they promise, management is horrible and if you make a mistake they make you work overtime until the mistake is fixed. They belittle you in front of other employee's. I would not recommend  working for this company.
