A typical day of work contains picking orders half in the cooler half in a dry environment.

I learned that if you kiss butt and do everything the manager tells you and stay for overtime everyday (which you will be asked to) you will be liked enough to stay and work as long as you want to.

Management is free flowing with little to know thought into who they hire right off the streets and throw right into the fire. It’s a revolving door when it comes to the amount of employees coming and going for various reasons.

Workplace culture is cut-throat and it's survival of the fittest, if you’re not an animal you will be preyed upon by the hierarchy within the warehouse environment.

The hardest part of the job is constantly lifting products and counting how many boxes or cans you have picked already, for example you could have an order of 100+ Frito boxes to pick and place on a skid along with adding up the weights of each box on a calculator and inputting into a RF scanner gun and you have to build your orders correctly or they will tip or the driver will refuse to take as is.

The most enjoyable part of the job is it's a fast paced environment and the day goes by pretty fast. Also you get a lot of free samples of cheese and meats, so they let you try a lot of the products which is decent.

My first day on the job the manager and the senior driver both laughed in my face when I asked  what the health benefits are like and the pay 

One thing was certain as I worked there EVERYONE hated there job there.

- everyone In the world would be better off never going to this place it will just be a waste of your time .

The management doesn’t care about there employees at all they are beyond cheap and everything there is either breaking down or broken, they have 6 to 7 forklifts that are just broken just put into the corner fir no reason. 
Also for some reason the warehouse staff hates the drivers this place is a NIGHTMARE to work and if your not stressed out before you will be if you go there .
For me it was only supposed to be a temporary job but holy trust me when I say do not go here ohh there are no raises either no matter how long you been there . 

It was a learning platform for me. I have learned a lot. The team was really good , it was fun working with them. But then everyone quit and the reason was the change in management that demands rotational shifts with no proper schedule. If you are good at work, you would attract more workload at this place, as they don’t understand the concept of equality. Rest My team was good actually we had good time there. Lot to learn, but management is the problem there. 

I advise to stay away from this place if you value your mental health. If you want to be treated like a dog for a paycheck, Go ahead. If you are not indian ethnicity you will not fit in. Another negative fact about this place is that the higher up employees act like its a highschool. Lots of gossip and unprofessionalism. Additionally,  this place will not support your career growth. 

I worked at Jan K for about a year,warehouse manager was an easy guy to work for but upper management had no clue..warehouse workers were lazy and myself and one other guy did 75% of the work..I worked at Jan K for 11 months and didnt recieve 1 pay stub and took 7 months to get my benefits when it should have only taken 3 months...low pay and always asking you to work longer and harder

The biggest problem with this company is very odd vibe between employees. Too much gossips and focus on other peoples job. Sometimes I had a feeling that some people only do that.
Management is very divided. My boss was great, but I could see that she is struggling with other managers. 
Overall company is not that bad, if you are capable to close your ears and do your job.

I deliver and I have a fairly simple job but supervisor is fair with all drivers.I and supervisor make sure work load is distributed fairly.well it’s a company that cares about our safety and make us do courses online for violence at work and how we can avoid it.

Working predominantly with Supply Managed commodities (Imported Cheeses, Grocery items and Deli meats along with other CPG items. Great products and some unique items catering to all sectors of retail, foodservice and industrial segments.
