Not the best place to work.. not the absolute worst either.. everywhere has their good n bad.. too many managers here when u have a problem almost nothing gets done. There's no incentives for anyone either. Which is really sad because im a great employee an ive been put in a position to be punished because of how equipment is.. weather slowing ya down.. or people in the yard in your way. I dont appreciate being talked down to and as a professional driver i just don't feel very professional here.  They let ya call in sick whenever ya want tho. Very nice people in dispatch to work with. Most drivers are very nice. Jays has one of the highest turn around rates for employees though. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
They give incentives if you don't have any mistakes of your task and also they are so considerate specially about the family 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes during winter time very cold and  it's hard to work if your getting freeze


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Multicultural and everybody welcome 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I like my shift but I prefer Monday to friday but I get used to it with my shift Sunday to Thursday

Management manipulation.  It’s terrible

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The family that comes in and does whatever they please.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Drama and stress..  backstabbing

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy…. Customers were wonderful .  Answering phones to cheery voices cause they know you on a more personal level.

You get worked like a mule and never get paid overtime and never get raises until you threaten to quit or put in your 2 weeks. Management was probably the poorest I’ve ever seen/heard of. Worked 6 days a week and very rarely got to take holidays. Co-workers do drugs while working and even some drivers while they are behind the wheel and won’t stop even after youve asked them to and went to management to report it.  Overall it’s a horrible place to work

For 2 months i was bullied and belittled by a coworker here. I brought it to managements attention and brought up i was scared. They promised me it would not continue, and things would get better. They never did. I have been told multiple times "she has always been an issue", "thats how she is", "this has been brought to our attention multiple times" but the company refuses to accept the issue and fix it.

Everthing is good over there i like that company

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They have old trucks that is a problem

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly atmosphere, good staff

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
All days are same somedays we have lots of work somedays not

Worst place ever do not work here 
Mangers do not care about you, everyone treats you bad if u wanna be put down and belittle come here  Management puts you down lots 

City p&d pays fairly, highway work does not pay well. Staff are mostly friendly although immigrant workers form cliques that separate staff. Lots of older equipment that is not fully maintained. 

Good people to work with but high stress, especially around summer. The best workers are the ones who will sacrifice their time and stay late according to management. Would work their again if I had no choice, but would be looking for something better in the mean time.

I loved working for Jay's the work was fun with great exercise and my co-workers were great fun to work with.The challenges involved in appliance delivery every day made each job unique and satisfying to complete.
