Fun lace to work and you make your own money if you have been in the industry or good with people, they will also single you out for your achievements which is great, you will have a good time here, but a couple of issues:

1. The management is not the greatest, had a manager talk bad about me to another associate on two separate occasions.

2. Pay is not great compared to other dealerships, you get a flat out $500 per vehicle, if you do a little snooping around everywhere else’s pay is much higher per vehicle for the same amount of work.

3. Training compared to other places I worked was sub-par, put you on a computer for 2 weeks then just told to go out and do it, was struggling and told not to sell and not worry about numbers but a week later was expected to sell 6 vehicles the next month.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The family atmosphere.  But the unfortunate thing is that work ethic and performance are not really looked at or reflected when management makes decisions.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Keeping up with the management changing their mind about what is going on 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic,  unhealthy and unreliable.  Anybody can say what they want to and get away with it 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Started at 7 am and off at 4 m.  But that could change at a drop of a hat

Management is terrible, it’s even worse if you work at the Quicklane. Managers must be on a power trip, will fire anyone for no reason and without notice. If you’re in service they try to turn you into a greasy sales person, and make you rip people off. 

Jim Hansen Gateway Ford Lincoln is a company that values it's employees and appreciate the loyalty and hard work of it's staff. The management team here is so supportive, encouraging and motivating. But most of all FUN! I appreciate that the company supports a positive environment and work life balance. 

Not knowing how you would be treated that day is one thing to expect. I little very little while there. Workplace culture is cold. Unclear instruction. Free lunch

Training was terrible. I had never worked in a customer service mechanic shop before and was completely unfamiliar with systems. The management of the quick lane service shop seemed disorganized and incapable in general.

My job was very specific most of the time but eventually you don’t know from day to  day what you were going to be doing. I was jerked around by management so often I didn’t know if I was coming or going.

Dysfunctional place to work. Poor management and appointment booking. They act as if you owe them. Pay is good but they just don't care about their employees 

Workplace culture was fine, everyone was very happy to be there. Management however was not very receptive to criticism or concerns from employees in day to day operations, and promises were always made but never executed.

Great place to buy a car and work.
Great staff service dept is awesome
