Jim Pattison Lease was my first  place of employment when I arrived in Canada from Italy. They gave me the opportunity and the support enabling me to immerse myself into a new career and life style. Coming from a very diverse work environment the staff and management alike were very instrumental in making me feel comfortable not only in a new work environment but also in a new country.
A typical day would be common reception related duties i.e. making sure the reception area was clean, tidy and welcoming. Greeting customers and any one that would enter the establishment with enthusiasm and congeniality.
I learned how to prioritize, organize and accommodate requests from staff and customers.
My co workers were very helpful and patient with my integration into this new position. Management was always ready to hear any concerns or difficulties regarding work.
I can honestly say there wasn't any part of the job I didn't enjoy. The hours made the job even more desirable as it was a nine to five, Monday to Friday situation. Which allowed me the freedom to have regular  family time.

A typical day at the office for me would be the process of all national account invoices for vehicle maintenance. Production and shipment of fleet cards for our customers on the fleet card program.
I have learned many different skills from time management, customer services, and other office related tasks.
Our management is hands on and willing to help out if anyone needs it, they are easy to talk to.
We have a great team atmosphere and everyone is willing to lead a helping hand.
The hardest part of the job is the deadlines that I need to meet.
Dealing with the customer and meeting their needs.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great company and culture. The leadership is first class. The best part about the company is the collaborative support from coworkers and the entire team across Canada and the US.

Reaching my own personal goals

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great, now always have someone to help you out when needed

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8 to 5 Monday to Friday. Lots of time out of the office seeing clients.

The company culture is relaxed despite having numerous job tasks. The salary, to be honest, is lower than that in the same industry, but many people join the company mostly because of its reputation. I think I might feel differently if my supervisor could provide me with more training. Many times, he simply lets me figure things out myself instead of blaming me for not knowing where I went wrong (even though I asked).

Fantastic place to work with a supportive and dynamic environment. I had the opportunity to learn many new skills that contributed to my professional growth. The staff is highly communicative, fostering collaboration and efficiency. The team culture is welcoming, and the people are not only great to work with but also genuinely supportive, making every day enjoyable and rewarding.

I thoroughly enjoy working with this company. We have a great manager who doesn't micro manage and tells you when your dong a great job.  The work load is manageable and enjoyable.

A good solid place to work where everyone communicated what was needed and things got done effectively. We had casual Fridays and a Social Committee that arranged pot lucks and special events.

Jim Pattison Lease is a great company to work for. Managment is supportive, and they have a great company culture. Everyone works as a team and helps support each other.

Great people and fun problems to solve. Employees were treated with respect. Small IT team handling a large scope of problems. Best suited for proactive employees willing to wear multiple hats.
