Overall working with Jim's is pretty fun. The work itself is dynamic, active, and satisfying, and the boss Jesse is very open and kind. I struggled slightly in the beginning because I'm not very mechanically inclined and didn't have experience with lawnmowers, etc, but I caught on before long. My main gripe is how unexpected the shifts can be; you should probably only work here if you have an open schedule and are looking to make some scratch, not if you have actual bills to pay. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The owners and their staff and very experienced and great to work for! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The time I spent at Jim’s I didn’t experience any stress.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The staff that I worked with were always positive and the owners stressed safety.

Jim’s Mowing is an excellent company for those looking to work outside and have a flexible schedule. If your passion is attention to detail and you enjoy transforming properties into works of art, this is the place for you. Working as a team is a must. Especially when playing in the best ball monthly golf tournament. 

I enjoyed working there. The physical labour can be a bit intense at times for a women when it comes to carrying heavy things such as tarps of dirt, but for the most part it’s a good company. Straightforward work, easy going managers for the most part. Would recommend. 

I have enjoyed my years working for jims mowing. They are a very busy residential yard lanscaping company. Payed me on time. They are very flexable with honest staff members and never out of work. the team attitude here really made me feel comfortable.

I helped the owner/operator out for a summer and had a good run doing it. Learned quite a few tips and tricks with getting the jobs done quickly and efficiently and getting the most bang for your buck.

This company is heavily influenced by who owns the franchise to each area. I have personally had a great experience with good pay, flexibility and good crew to work with daily.

Management of this company is lackluster. Constantly having equipment breakdown, false promises of improving conditions. Long days with constant unforeseen problems.

My boss was great! But management of chain isn’t so great so I heard! They charge a lot to run the business even if it’s off season my boss(friend) was charged a lot to keep it running

Great opportunity. Great pay. Sky is the limit. Work for yourself and make your own schedule. Leadership is great and very helpefull. Work outdooors and get some fresh air.
