Every employee at the John Lewis Partnership has a stake in the business which results in all employees having a greater commitment to the success of the business. 
While the salaries aren't the highest in the marketplace, the benefits that were on offer, combined with the positive attitude and friendliness of the majority of the staff I worked with made it more than worthwhile.
Unfortunately due to the uncertainty in the UK retail market, I believe that now is the perfect time for me to begin looking for other opportunities.

Great pay if you’re working part-time along university but, honestly it’s at the cost of becoming mentally drained in the environment. Not a bad place to work depending on where you work and when. I worked in two departments during my time there and definitely had a better colleague experience in one than the other. Managers seem to scared of older colleagues and that’s where most of the drama comes from. Had quite an effect on people like me that were just there to do my job.

Its an excellent organisation where you can work , there are some issues like approach, restrictions of timings and duties to follow.
Multicultural environment makes it a fun place to work with different cultural backgrounds.

Always enjoyed my work,showing of my design skills on arranging different merchandise.
Dealing with customer care and queries,making sure they leave the store happy and enjoyed shopping,and found everything they wanted.

I felt like I was going back to high school, but not the good years, more like the 7th-8th grade, every one has their "click" or group. If someone doesn't like you, it doesn't matter how hard you work, you're marked. 

Overall good company to work for. Was given great projects and the colleagues were very professional in most cases. Would work for them again if good opportunity arose.

Honestly was a great place to work, kind of repetitive but good staff and always on the go. Always room to move up in the company and being apart of a good team.
