Working at Jokey was one of the most frustrating experiences of my career. The management is disorganized and unresponsive to employee concerns, leading to constant confusion and inefficiency. There’s a severe lack of proper training, support, and opportunities for advancement, making it impossible to feel valued or motivated. The work environment is highly stressful, with little to no effort made to improve employee well-being.

On top of that, the company's processes and equipment are outdated, which creates unnecessary delays and adds pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines. Overall, it felt like the leadership prioritized cutting corners over quality and employee satisfaction. I cannot recommend Jokey as a workplace to anyone seeking a positive and professional environment.

Jokey was a decent workplace.  Management has a lot on their plate. Fast paced and stressful at times when machines were warming up not running properly.  12 hour shifts in workboots on cement floors was torture on the feet.  Machines usually keep running over breaks untill orders are complete.  People there are great, always busy so time did not drag on.  Room to advance if mechanically inclined

Breaks are near impossible, poor work balance management, blatant favouritism. 
Heavy work load, good pay but hardly worth it. 
Some good leads, mostly bad and lazy management. Packers and material handlers are overworked to keep up with production.
Extremely hot environment with “heat breaks” and paid breaks but you cant leave lines or they fill up so not executed properly. 

Change molds as required
Check quality of product
Trouble shoot issues with machines
Use of overhead crane for mold removal
Operate forklift to move molds between machine and storage area

Molds are torqued by hand using clamps and bolts.
Very physical labour and always wanted it done in half the time

Enjoying the challenge
people make this company great. Growing quickly and have untapped potential in its market. 
  Some very knowledgeable staff and working towards more training as with growth comes a newer work force

Great job though sometimes stressful. Very clean enviroment to work in. Great co-workers and mangement.
The hardest part of the job was if the machines were not working up to par and you had to try to keep up to 4 or 5 machines.
The most enjoyable part of the job was being constantly on the go moving from one machine to the other. Keeps you fit.

Lots of good people work here but the management is terrible. think twice about working hear. They don't care how long of a day you have when they want you to stay and work on something and then they critisicize you for working to much over time. They don't fix anything properly and their wages and raises are a joke....

As with most foreign owned companies, there are cultural and language barriers.   Usually, over time, these diminish, but not with this company.  
Management and upper management are not always on the same page.  Favoritism is an issue and there is much disrespect.  
If you are interested in career growth and development, this is not he place for you.

Never consider this a place for long term employment. Plant manager states people are replaceable a dime a dozen. Pay issues, brutal heat in summer try to leave in winter due to bad driving conditions made to feel bad because you want to get home safe.
