If your any good at your job Jones requires you as a below minimum pay plus commission Sales clerk to help train new staff even new store managers but then reprimand you when you don't help the Managers who have a set Sallery that's in line with their position meet their Sales quotas. I helped weekly bring our store numbers above requirement but found it rediculous to have to give up my bread and butter to make the Manager look good.

Typical day at work included organizing clothes, helping customers shop and cashing them out.
I learned how to deal with frustrated customers in a professional manner.
Management was okay.
Hardest part was when they filed bankruptcy and had to close down.
Most enjoyable part was helping customers find outfits and building new relationships with regular customers.

Well some days are long cause its not busy enough but theres the days were its none stop going,
I learned to manage my time better with customers and things i needed to do exemple : like stock
our team is great to work with..
the enjoyabe part of the job is knowing that the customer leaves happy at the end of the day.

Terrible place to work. Management style was dictatorial.
Only good thing was the girls on the sales floor. They worked together as a well oiled  machine & were very collaborative - Manager was jealous & insecure about this.
Nonetheless they were professional right up till the end of the store closing.

1) I was shy nature before sales representative. First day at Jones was typical day.
2) I learned customer service manners.
3) My co- workers were helpful and kind.
4) Day when we were not able to achieve our sale target.
5)When I finished all my files and entries more than that assigned to me.

The  experience has been amazing,  as a business owner you run your region and  business professionally. coaching, training, implementing and just simple having fun every day.  The hardest part of the job was he location of the  business.

Good place to work if you want to start off your introduction into the working world,great co-workers. A typical day is usually fast paced in the shipping and packing departments and rush shipping is the most hectic part of the day an week

It was a great place to work the opportunity was great before the company was taken over. All high level management left > so I left as well. love the clothes and the great environment with my staff.

Was comfortable in the workplace, was doing clerical work - my lead hand was very understanding and was very mature. Was capable of taking the initiative to do work outside of job requirement and was credited.

Had a great experience @ JONES NEW YORK. Good management communications. Many opportunities here. Would still be working here  if not for company closing
