Stay away from this accounting opportunities. It is good only for intership. When you work there, you should be very careful of relationships especially in finance department because you will see someone who spreads a lot rumers and misleading reports to vp, of course when you are recognized as a potential risk for her position. If that happens no one comes to you to hear the truth from your end. I got a promotion offered by vp finance right after 3 months starting my job but to work for free for the new role beside my principal duties. As soon as I refused I received my termination. :) :) :) This is not also good for the CEO of the company who, probably, might not be aware of what is going on. You just need to have a quick search for the headcount turnover for this position and the team and you will find what's up there!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very human and validating. Many social activities to ensure a pleasant environment.
Lots of team building activities. All age groups are being represented in the choice of employees.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meetings, exchanges, individual work, reporting to directors, positive feedback.

Great relaxed work environment, even when there's high stress projects going on everything still remains relaxed/ Very friendly teams & departments. One Hour lunch breaks. Flexible with children/maternity leave.

Unfortunately, many people have been with the company for many years and have little to no change in title... systems are very manual, not much up to date technology, a lot of things are old school or by the books. Not many corporations still runt his way in comparison to big house corporations.

If you like small, like very small - this would be for you.

The HR team was great and the fact that the employees finish at 1pm every Friday is amazing! Unfortunately, they aren't very generous when it comes to salary. The company isn't doing super well, so no yearly bonuses nor salary increases for the employees. Also, not a lot of career advancement possibilities. 

This is a data driven company so information is key for their business and there is never a lack of information to analyze.  They allow part of your time to work on whatever you want so you can be creative and innovative.  Friendly environment and employe appreciation.   They pay overtime and bonus.

Working directly for the company owner. Correspondence, answering phone calls, negotiating company contracts, such as maintenance, snow removal.

Learned about the fashion industry.

Competent management.

Great co-workers.

Personal errands for the owner.

Could make decisions.

Enjoyable work atmosphere, friendly co-workers. I learned how to manage a high level call volume, while delivering a high level of customer service. They provide adequate training and are dedicated to the well being of their customers.

I love this company .
I can't take the winters anymore here in Quebec. 
This is the only reason I would change. 
I love what I do . Love designing , helping/leading/guiding  a team , always a challenge for successful collections.

It’s a good place to work, always busy working and the management are very fair with employees.
They delivered to the costumers without delay. It’s a good company to walk with.....

There is no internal promoting even though they try to sell that as a plus at the time of hiring, majority of people are competitive and look out for themselves HR is not employee oriented and hardly ever available to help. There is no team  spirit and has a horrible culture.
