Good job for students, with very flexible hours and great benefits. Very friendly staff, easy to make friends. For a sales job it is not cutthroat at all, with reps often taking turns helping customers to ensure equal opportunities at commission. Day to day entails assessing customer needs and selling phones under Sasktel, and setting up repair appointments via Jump.ca's Apple repair center's. 

Management often seems out of touch with retail staff, often focusing almost solely on the negative of your performance, even when targets are being met or exceeded. Constant strings of questionable decisions include blatant unequal treatment of employees, pay imbalance relative to workload in certain stores, and changing the entire companies email infrastructure in the middle of one of the busiest sales of the year, effectively crippling communications. Likewise, outside of work there is a very toxic partying culture among some of the managers that makes Christmas parties and private staff get together's beyond awkward. Nobody on the retail end of things is over the age of 30 which may contribute to this.

It's a very club like environment,  like we sell cellular phones it's not rocket science

It doesn't matter what location you want to work, each store has its handful of people who always dislike newer employees, the higher up don't do anything about it even after multiple time of mentioning  the issues, it's always " Oh he/she is just trying to help you" or " I think uiu might be seeing it a wrong way" no.
..I know when someone is being disrespectful to me, the higher ups are worse then the in store managers, so unless you are already in the club don't expect your concerns to get any further then a text or email, only work here if you hate your life and want to dredge going in each day. 

Negative Points: You are continually learning and there is a lot to learn. You are not paid enough for the work you do. Head office has no idea what the retail store staff do and the hard work that is preformed. You only hear from managment when it is something negative you have done and nothing positive. Because of the wage the turn around of staff is very high so there is always people training so never any stable long term employees.
Positive Points: Health Benefits are very good. There is paid sick days. There is contests where you can win prizes during certain times of the year. 

Working here is ok, most times management seems to forget about the smaller stores, they dont take issues with coworkers seriously and would rather have the sale rather then actually dealing with a customers issues, they expect you to spend a certain amount of time with every customer before moving on to the 
next one.

Jump is one of the leaders in the industry.  State of the art store and point of sale software made it fun and easy to handle customer transactions daily. Great sales and retention incentives.

Good work environment, lots of training and opportunities for advancement. Numerous locations within the city so you have flexibility with what area you would like to work in. Fun, fast-paced and lots of autonomy.

They don’t hire you with the need of much knowledge of smartphones. All they want is sales. If you’re over the age of 25, you feel super old working here.

Excellent Workplace to learn, grow and excel. Its also one of the best diversity employer in Canada that values diverse opinions, values employees, recognizes and rewards performance.

Within this organization head office is where you would advance to further your career, unfortunately this is difficult in any sort of timely fashion.

Great work environment. Fast paced workplace. Customer service orientated. Commission based salary.. the more you sell, the more you are paid. Professional atmosphere.
