Company is centralized in Sunnyvale California so there as much interaction with the outlying centers in Ottawa that would have been desirable.

Good pay and benefits and stock incentives to stay with the company.

Lots of employee focused training and processes.

Over all a good experienced even with the layoff.

The company is always challenging the latest technologies. Lots to learn and grow. Excellent respect for work life balance. Can do attitude. Encouraged to take risk, be independent yet collaborate with team and managers. Overall its a great experience to work for Juniper.

Nice workplace to work in the operating systems and kernels and occationally drivers. It would be a best place to gain the spirit of telecommunications which is practically fundamental in ottawa tech market and also empower you to explore other fansy things like cloud. but the conditon is you have to pay attention to learn around rather than limited to your own tasks got assigend.

The stack is big and need more studies for certian area, I mean investment for research.
for my experience I like this product and I need to grow and develop as much we can.

It has been sad to observe that over the past few years the culture at Juniper has become hostile in nature.  There are a number of new management who's arrogance and lack of insight display aggressive and hostile behaviour.  If are about to accept an offer be sure to have a qualified legal representative review your offer letter.

Terrible salary and training for newer employees. When I joined this was still BTI Systems. Management was bad, CEO kept changing but no major changes in working style.

The company is not looking to become a bigger brand globally. I have worked in this company for almost 6y now and in different busines units and different regions, yet I feel that the culture is only good in USA

Juniper is a good place for working. The company's environment is excellent. All the people is nice and very smart. In addition, the company is also known how to develop employee.

A typical day is very much the same where the work is outlined clearly and things are very much planned in advance.
Less opportunities for innovation.
