Just Energy Group

Enjoyable, outdoor entry-level job for individuals who are seeking a career or profession in sales. Poor management quality with an unprofessional work environment may hinder an individual's enthusiasm towards the job. There is some insincerity in sales pitches that Just Energy has been made notorious for. 

3/5 - Would not recommend this job to experienced individual, but more so for people who have less than 1 year of working experience and want to try out something new.

Good company, amazing team and friends, but no future. 

Management need to change their business model and invest in renewable energy generation assets. Company went into bankruptcy protection  then went private, Don't see the energy retail business surviving for too long. 

This company operates much like a factory. Very mixed culture with not much time to socialize with anyone. Employees are seen just as a avenue to get the work done. Worker to worker there were some nice and friendly persons there. Work security in the department that I worked was at a all time low.  A SUPERVISOR OF MINE WAS GIVEN THE BOOT WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION.

It's almost like a different company than many years ago when I joined. Share price collapsed. New directors / managers know nothing about what they're doing and what their teams are doing. They are not knowledgable and not even smart, and don't even bother to understand. Compensations among different teams / individuals under same department are ridiculously unfair.

Every job comes with its challenge I choose to grow and learn .  The responsibility to be accountable for your action is based on the logos blue print of your life . My opportunity came so I work I built and I  conquered . No one is responsible for you . So be accountable no matter what choices you face not all choices made are yours in life, Nevertheless choose GOOD

Toxic environment since everyone has taken more task from the people leaving this company. They are not hiring people from Canada but outsourcing the whole business to India.

GE is a slow paced, highly bureaucratic place to work. Depending on the specific business, career progression typically tends to be very slow. The organization is steeped in standardized processes and procedures.

Investigate and resolve escalated consumer complaints from third party sources such as Ontario Energy Board (OEB), Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP)

Recently a new CEO was installed to drive much needed changes given a difficult industry.  I have confidence these changes will positively impact the company across the board.
