Owner of this business is extremely unprofessional. Lied about staffing situation and hours of work in the interview.  High turnover of employees, most employees were immediate family members of the owner.  Didn't provide hand soap.  Owner and wife were lazy and inexperienced, took 15-20 minute breaks every hour and lacked knowledge of basic fondant/gum paste techniques.  Showed up late to work while employees waited outside every day.

If you want to be micromanaged by a husband and wife team who talk on their cellphones while decorating, don't seem to know what they're doing and threaten your job when you ask to go home after 11 hours of working with only one break and no overtime pay, then this is the job for you!

Sucks because it could be an awesome job if it weren't for totally unprofessional and rude management.

I started out as Just Temptations without any administrative or sales experience and I left with ample knowledge of both, not to mention a love for sales.  The entire Just Temptations staff are warm, respectful and inviting, and it felt like being part of a family, rather than a bureaucratic institute.  As many people would know, working in a smaller, more tight knit environment allows for a greater learning curve and is much more rewarding at the end of the day.  

The compensation reflected the amount of work necessary for completion, and the hours were flexible. The managers are very fair, and are more than willing to pay overtime and holidays. People may have misconceptions about working for a family owned business, but it was honestly the most rewarding job of my early career thus far.

Just Temptations is a great place to work! I was hired in 2014 as an office administrator right out of university.  The staff here are really nice and helpful.  The manager of the business is very kind and flexible. I got a teaching position in october of 2014 and left to pursue my career, however I still work here part time.
I enjoy coming into work because all of the staff here are so kind. It is both a fun and professional place to work.  A lot of office experience can be gained.

Went in for an interview for admin assistant position. Owner was not there when I arrived on time for my interview. I had to initiate a handshake. Read my resume in front of me. Did not have any questions prepared for me to answer. Did not fully explain work expectations. Did not have a set hourly rate for the position. Asked if I could be paid by cheque and that I would have to do the taxes on my own. I knew very early on in the interview that I did not want to work there. I would not recommend applying for the admin assistant position unless you are okay with an unstable environment.

I have been employed with Just Temptations for more than 7 years. Just Temptations does an amazing job keeping everyone aligned to their goals. I've had my fair share of jobs but I've never considered my coworkers as family members until Just Temptations. 

Working at Just Temptations has taught me how to work as team and handle pressure under strict deadlines and I have gained a great level of what exceptional customer service should be. It is truly a GREAT place to work! 

Seven years and still counting!!!

Applied for this job thinking it was going to be awesome however it was not . First day of getting there they compared me to another girl saying I have to be and work like her. They told me that I have to get cakes done and if I don't I would have to stay till it's done and not get paid for it . Worst place ever ! I highly do not recommend this place . Owner is horrible and staff seemed intimidated. They always are hiring because no one stays in this place when they realize how bad it is.

I had previously applied for this company and was called in for an interview. It is definitely not for the position of an "office assistant" I see that have now clarified the hours at least as they were advertised previously as being full time, days. This position is literally selling cakes. That is all. The manager is far from being professional, I had to hold my hand out to initiate a handshake and introduction nevermind a "have a nice day"

I have been working at Just Temptations for more than  12 years. The Owner  is very professional in the way he manages  staff and the business. The hours and pay is great. I haven't learnt and grown so much with this company. It's been worth the 12 years. Looking forward to even more growth for the years to come.

I have been working at Just Temptations for almost a year now and the management is amazing. The owner and manager are really nice and knowledgeable and trained me well. They gave me an experience to work with the general public as well as administrative work and sales. Very supportive staff!

Worked here full time for a year. The work is challenging but the staff is very supportive! 
Owner is very understanding and as long as you work hard, he is always willing to accommodate his employees. 

Overall had a great experience working here.
