A typical day started around 6:30am, at this time I opened the office and prepared coffee for the incoming trade supervisors. I then reviewed my scheduled for the day and began preparing my supervisors for their daily tasks. The rest of the day consisted of monitoring the various trades insuring the schedules were meet and procedures were followed. Regular meetings were held daily with superintendents from other trades for the purpose of scheduling and directing the work force.
This particular project improved my organization skills and taught me valued communication skills. 
Working at KBAC was a very positive expierence as the managment team worked well together. Communication and expectations from management was always clear and concise.
The general foreman and foreman always showed respect for managment by diligently and adequately preforming their tasks. 
The hardest part of the job was when deadlines were not meet because of equipment delays or other matters that where out of our control. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was the sense of accomplishment that came from successfully completing the timely installation of new modern equipment.

A typical day at KBAC would begin with a informal meeting of the safety team before work on the site began. We discuss the concerns or incidents that happened the day before and what we learned from what had happened. We had 4600 people on the pay role and site broken into 4 different area's. It was compulsory to get to a tool box talk before to shift began to try an address concerns of the workers. I learned, when talking to large groups of people the message has to be very clear in order for every body to revive the same message.
The hardest part of the job for me would be the first day back from days off and the last day working before days off. Trying to keep workers focused on the task at hand. 
The most enjoyable part of the day for me was the interaction with the different groups and different personalities. I also enjoyed my co-workers and having socials.

Every employee in my dept. was under mush stress each and every day put on by management even though the majority of employees were very good workers. Some very experienced and for those who were, the knowledge was not welcome. Management was of the poorest quality. Could not make good decisions. No organization as in inventory control or material set up. Things were duplicated many times over and instances where procedures were dropped because it got to a point where management knew things could not be monitored properly and little guidance from supervisors. The most enjoyable part for all was to be with their co-workers which seem to be the only piece of comfort for your day.

•	Responsible for ensuring safe and successful execution of Mechanical construction activities.
•	Participate in Project Management Team
•	Serves as day-to-day interface with construction manager / craft labor during the execution phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost and schedule
•	Provide safety monitoring / leadership
•	Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues / progress
•	Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures and plans
•	Monitor workforce productivities / progress relative to schedule
•	Interface with Construction Management for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
•	Verify post-site arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment
•	Coordinate construction foremen
•	Coordinate quality audits

a typical day at work started with group safety meetings, filling out a job hazard assessment card and a walk through of job area.we worked in groups to get a particular job done safely and efficiently.We worked together along with management to do a job properly. co-workers became good friends from working together.Hardest part of the job was being exposed to elements and long days travelling back and forth.the most enjoyable part of the job was working with people I didn't know before and making new friends as time went on.

Each shift started with my completing a count of all company personnel (numbers only) on site in case of emergency.  Mostly night shift where I worked with a good team.  Had some opportunities to learn more and took advantage of those opportunities.  Good interaction with fellow employees and management.  Great place to work but as with all construction jobs, it came to an end.

Working for kbac was a good experience, safety on site was well maintained by company. The company was good to me and i would certainly work for this company again

Suggestion:

Review this topic at time of employment with large groups as to avoid much loss time in confusion on job site on pay days.

A busy and demanding company. Great people to work and learn from with lots of experience. A large range of activities and knowledge base surrounds all disciplines which makes it good environment for learning.

People are open to communication at all levels and are quick to help.
