What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
가장 큰 스트레스 요인은 3년 주기로 순환 근무를 하는 본사 파견 인원들과의 지속적인 적응 과정입니다. 업무 호흡이 맞춰질 만하면 담당자가 교체되기 때문에, 새로운 인물에게 현지 시장과 업무 프로세스를 반복해서 교육해야 하는 어려움이 있습니다. 이러한 구조적 특성으로 인해 업무의 연속성을 유지하는 데 상당한 에너지가 소모되며, 실무자로서 매번 새로운 관계를 구축하고 적응해야 하는 점이 정신적으로 큰 부담이 됩니다.

The most stressful aspect is the constant cycle of adapting to new personnel from Headquarters who rotate every three years. Just as we establish a smooth working synergy, they are reassigned, forcing local staff to repeatedly train new arrivals on market dynamics and internal processes. This lack of continuity requires significant energy to maintain operational stability. Constantly building new professional relationships and restarting the "onboarding" process for superiors can be mentally exhausting and creates a repetitive hurdle in long-term projects.

The idea of helping Korean SMEs is great, but the work culture seriously needs an update. The culture carries traces of toxic Korean-style hierarchy, gossip, and rigid seniority norms that make it hard to build an open, collaborative environment or grow your career.

Support and guidance often depend on how well someone fits into the existing group dynamic, which is heavily shaped by outdated and insular workplace norms.

Although the organization’s purpose is to promote B2B connections between Korea and Canada, the internal environment feels far from being connected to the broader Canadian business culture. It can feel more like a small, closed-off community with its own unspoken rules, rather than a place where you’re engaged with the local market or truly part of the Canadian professional landscape.

If you're looking for a workplace that feels open, inclusive, and integrated with the wider Canadian business world, this may not be the right fit.

extremely busy, and a lot of pressure. You will have to facilitate trade business between South Korea & Canada which will require you to work day and night according to the time differences between the two countries. A painstaking amount of effort will be poured in to score a successful trade, and yet, you will not be appreciated because you have dozens of other accounts to take care of. A lot of work, but it will definitely expose you to a variety of industrial environments and government procurement sectors.

No need to have previous experience or skill sets you've made. Just making fake smiles to people who charging in HR. Even though if this doesn't work, you may better take plastic surgery to be attractive. Most of co-workers who participated in golden time which no one works at the moment and got into this company easily. Can't be linked when working. 

I mainly assisted my manager in conducting market research to find potential buyers for our clients. My team often stayed late to adjust to our clients' needs and provide them with satisfactory results. 
Through this internship, I learned to work as a team and adapt a face-paced environment to meet multiple deadlines.

The workplace culture is a mixture between Canadian and Korean style professionalism. 

The job provides a lot of opportunities to learn new skills. It is a great job for a business student right out of university.

not bad to work 
Have a good work life balance, as well as good  pay for entry level workers, and also there is no working late or over hour work which can ensure your free time after work

Pros: Network - work directly with CEOs and directors of Korean manufacturers.
Cons: Work can be overload also demanding since the role works as consultant with client based. Also the salary is below the market.

There is a lot of Korean culture. Everyone is very busy and has heavy work. It is almost impossible to work unless you are Korean. Location and nice view are the good point in there

The office is not very friendly and managements are constantly fighting and expects staff to take sides. No training at all but expects to do everything flawless
