The QA Manager literally has people in tears when you get monitored.  You have to say everything exactly as they want you to or it's 10 points off.  She'll make you sit there and repeat a word to prove that you don't speak perfect English, regardless of how many human rights violations are being incurred, and you can't answer ANY questions a customer might have or it's an autofail.  You can't even say the system's gone down because it's apparently a sign of weakness.  This place abuses people and gets away with it because KPI is under contract by some American company continuously threatening to pull out.  Bottom line: after training, people start disappearing after about 3 weeks, no joke.

I enjoyed working with my co-workers.  They kept me there. That was it though.  You could never be sick.  If you did, you had to get a drs note even if it was just one day. There were no sick days, no benefits and I only minimum wage.  Management micro managed and never had your back, despite the turnover rate.  Management had benefits and good pay but employees, were nothing.  One supervisor was very caring and understanding but that was it.

Kpi connect was a great place to work for. Coworkers and managing staff were helpful in answering questions on the job when they had the chance, and the training process (while it can be overwhelmingly detailed) is relatively straightforward and informative. Regular performace reviews with onsite and offsite staff helped to improve the standard of customer service care and point out where improvements could be made.
Generally a fast paced job, with a main focus on providing excellent customer care.

I worked at KPI Connect for two years. It was a very good training ground and learning experience for me. I enjoyed honing my skills as a Customer Service Agent. I was able to improve my customer relations by minding my Ps and Q's. I was also taught a valuable lesson about workplace behavior and coworker relations. I dedicated my time and effort to better customer service skills.

I liked working here BUT when I call to see if there is any more jobs coming available, NO ONE EVER CALLS ME BACK!!!!  I have left messages.  I find this very bad customer service!!!  How do they stay open???? Then a position( aug. 25th)  came  applied and NO ONE phones me since I worked before on this same contract.   I guess they do not want to rehire me anymore. Maybe that is it.  What a strange place!!!  I would not recommend kpi connect to anyone!!

The people who work there are nice.

I don't think there is anything stressful about the position. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Generally a very good working environment.

My Part-Time Customer Service Representative position at KPI Connect involved talking to people promoting radio stations over the phone.  I have gained communication skills during my time there.  Depending on the phone conversation, I would always respond to the person appropriately.

I learned how to interact with customers better. It was almost always busy. The building was in a great location downtown in the arts district. The management was good. The hardest part of the job was the customers when they were contacted on bad days.

The job itself wasn't terrible but the way you end up being treated by the customers and some of the supervisors made it unbearable sometimes. The pay is minimum wage, which is fine unless you want to be able to pay rent or buy food or keep the lights on.

-I've learned how to deal with irritated customers and successfully dispatched the phone with resolved issues
