I worked on Primus so my review is only for their Primus program. I'll start with the positives.
1) The virtual team is supportive.
2) The base pay+commission structure.

Now everything that's wrong with this job.
1) Poor product. The rates are in no way competitive. Worst customer service.
2) They don't hire you, they sign you as a private contractor so no benefits whatsoever.
3) No job security. You would not survive more than 2 months as full time.
4) No advancement opportunities.
5) Worst working conditions. Standing all day even in your break time you can not find a place to sit down as they do not give a stool with the kiosk. 
6) Management doesn't care about you since you are not an employee. They will only communicate when they need something i.e overtime or filing in for someone else. If you need something they would never reply.
7) When you sign up, you will be promised 40 hours per week but you would never get near that number. You might get 35ish hours for the first week but after that it'll be below 30 per week.
8) this is not a proper job. Its a good short term fix for students but if you are looking for a full time job you should probably look elsewhere.

How they operate is that they have their employees that are called team lead among the team, all other people are on contracts and are easily and quickly replaced. They have very unrealistic targets and when you do not hit your goals they stop giving you shifts. Their are team members who do exceptional good work and always exceed their targets but these are very few and the location where you work plays a role in your success.
 
All in all, if you are looking for a short term fix and you know how to sell your thing this is a good opportunity but if you are looking for a long term job this isn't the place to go.

Knewsales is a great company to start your career and build your skill set. If your interested in sales and marketing this company will provide many platforms for you to develop your experience. They deal with a broad range of clients and programs which helps diversify you. It is a Boutique style agency so growth opportunities are limited here. It is not that there is no growth available however it is a small company and not many opportunities are present frequently. If you do work in the Management department, job work/life balance becomes very difficult, it is a very demanding role, you will need to be available 24/7 to your teams and superiors. You must have a very dedicated and hard work ethic in order to handle and enjoy that role. Salary is entry-level, with ability to be higher based on commissions from your role. This again is highly dependant on which clients and programs you are working with. Job security is there if you are dedicated and hard working and produce results, however without clients, there is no job so you need to ensure you are hitting requirements and growing client lists. The job culture and company culture is excellent, very open minded and open culture, lots of events and activities for the staff and a very open door policy with talking and expressing thoughts, opinions, feelings.
Overall, it is a great place to enter the marketing/sales world and get your feet wet, build your skills and have a solid experience under your belt to move forward.

I worked as a brand ambassador for a product promotion. The training was overwhelming and the stores lacked products to demo. Sales targets were unreachable due to lack of products in stores. Managers were constantly texting and threatening us with loosing our jobs or pay. Nice products and reasonable pay but managers had no confidence nor trust for employees. I have worked in experiential marketing for other companies and I have never seen such firm management as this company. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Also, they use Natural Insight to Geo tag your location. Sometimes it doesn't work so they assume that you are not at your scheduled location and threaten to dock your pay. Overall, bad experience and would never work for this company again.

Trust me… you are going to want to avoid working at KSG, and it’s sister company Up Fundraising, at all costs! 

The majority of KSG people work in field sales, which is an extremely difficult and unfulfilling entry level job. The top-down pressure to produce results leads to salespeople saying (and getting away with) just about anything to a customer in order to get a sale. Most salespeople last about a week before they’ve had enough.

Working at Head Office is just as bad as they have created a negative and toxic environment that shows complete disrespect to anyone who dares to challenge the status quo. The turnover at corporate office is also off the charts as people quickly realize they don't want to work there or are quickly fired for not being totally obedient.

Stay far away!

worst company to work with. they dont even value their employees. you can make money since its commission plus hourly wage but the management is terrible too many unnecessary stuff and procedure to deal with. they consider themselves as professional but most of the managers you will have 20 years old people who dont know anything about professionalism. if your nationality is the same as managers and if you are lucky you can work there more than a month otherwise they will start pushing you to get sales even cut your hours without a warning. i have even seen their racist attitude on people including myself THIS COMPANY MUST BE BANNED FROM CANADA. they dont care about the ethics dont respect others nationalities only their own people and managers let them do fake sales even they know that its fake.

a typical day at work is coming to work for 6-8 hours.
i learned to be punctual and have high energy to talk to people. no fear of rejections.
workplace culture is in public places such as coffee shops, malls and ttc.
the hardest part of the job is finding people who qualifies for the credit cards and having valid ids
the most enjoyable part of the job is the autonomy. 
got to get to know the GTA very well. taking different route options to get to work. everyday is a different day. 
having a conference call once a month was very benefical to me because it enlarged my vision of what i was doing there.

They advertise the role as base salary + commission - a total lie, as this policy was scrapped around April 2016. The job is basically yelling out products to Costco customers like a carnival barker as they approaching the exits. The product itself - home phone and Internet services - is grossly uncompetitive compared to what local and regional companies offer. Expect to have customers approach you not to sign up but to complain about the service. Demoralized, unmotivated sales staff. Indifferent, metrics-driven managers who only care about numbers. Little to no advancement potential, low pay, and you can't even sit during the shift. Avoid at all costs.

Nice place to work, friendly people with unrealistic expectations The recruitment for reps is terrible, they will hire anyone to join your team and take days to train them only to find out that they have no sales experience and are unable to do the position. 
This position can give you the proper family/work balance as long as you get the job done. 
Expect e-mails and text after 1030pm which must be responded to you right away. 
Management needs guide more and not throw you into the deep end of the pool then make threats on your job security.

Everyone knows everyone, if your a new hire you will be discriminated and left out. Rude management, they speak in their language even when your around. They do not follow their client sales protocols and will do anything for a sale. They tell you their flexible with scheduling but thats a complete lie. Its not a full time position, but when you request a part time they tell you they can not accommodate which is very interesting.. 
Advice, do not work for them even if you are a new graduate.

A typical day at work ould be interacting with a lot of people , meeting new faces . It was a lot of fun .I used to work unsupervised most of the times .Only talking to my team leader when absolutely necessary.I learned a lot about Canadian culture as I was fairly new to this country.The workplace was fun and interesting everyday. New ventures and new tasks would test my skills on a daily level .
