The employees there are great for the most part. The owners though and other family management belittle you constantly .  They think nothing of yelling at you and treating you poorly.  It's a dysfunctional atmosphere.  They don't train you but expect you to know. It took me six months at least to get over the way I was treated.  I left basically a broken person because of the way i was treated.  The entire company is totally disorganized and is not proactive at all and they take it out on employees around them .  Unless you have lots of experience and knowledge of what your doing in this industry , I don't suggest applying .

If you are looking for a secure job look elsewhere. It isnt about how hard you work at this place just how good you can brown nose. If you are a CWB qualified welder dont even look at this place it is a joke. The people on the shop floor are nice and friendly but the comunication chain between management and employe's is trash and the shop tools (ironworker, steel saw, bandsaw) are ancient. Would not recommend this job to anybody unless you really need somewhere to work and you can put up with alot if politics in a shop.

your training is a one page checklist; management has no corporate or professional people skills training. fast paced, chaotic environment. no matter how organized or planned you are as a good PM, others thrive on the chaos and will always throw off your projects to get theirs done because of their lack of planning/PM. this place is not for the weak, be expected to be belittled, yelled at and expected to know everything within a week.

most enjoyable part of the job was the abuility to give input on new contracts and to see the final product.

I found working here was difficult in part that they knew i was new to the programs but didn't train me satisfactorily and ended up letting me go when I couldn't keep up with the pace. It would be good for someone with a lot of design experience, but even then it will still be difficult.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kwik Signs and wished i could have remained a part of their family. 

Unfortunate reasons led to my departure - would rejoin in a minute if things were different.

Great Company to work for ....... But after numerous years in the Sign Business its time for a change from the long long hours,unpredictable start and finish times. Love working outdoors and in a different place with ever changing jobs.

Trying to advance with this company is very difficult. Hours are long and sometimes very stressful as the work load is not planned properly making for long days, not accounting for possible mistakes.
