Karrat Management

From the outset, the job description highlighted the potential for unlimited earnings through commissions, but it failed to disclose the substantial effort required to achieve even modest results. Door-to-door sales inherently involve countless hours of walking, dealing with rejection, and overcoming various obstacles. While I anticipated some challenges, the sheer magnitude of work demanded for the meager pay was beyond my expectations.

One of the most frustrating aspects of this role was the disproportionate amount of effort invested compared to the monetary compensation received. With the payment structure heavily reliant on commissions, the base salary was negligible, making it difficult to sustain oneself during lean periods. Even during successful sales, the commission percentages were disappointingly low, resulting in little financial gain for the time and energy invested.

Another significant drawback of this job was the constant rejection faced on a daily basis. Door-to-door sales inherently involve persuading skeptical individuals who may be uninterested or unwilling to engage. This constant rejection took a toll on my motivation and made the job emotionally draining. Despite my best efforts to improve my sales techniques and approach, the high rate of rejection greatly impacted my overall performance and, ultimately, my earnings.

Additionally, the nature of door-to-door sales made it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The long hours spent in the field, often during evenings and weekends when homeowners were available, left little time for personal activities or relaxation. This imbalance affected not only my overall well-being but also my ability to pursue other income-generating opportunities.

First, no salary, only a bonus of $500 per week for 6 weeks after 3 weeks of work. (NO PAYMENT FOR THE FIRST 3 WEEKS). This job has all the downsides of an office job, very professional appearance required, strict arrival times, time clocking and the downsides of a door-to-door job, quotas, no expense reimbursement or mobility assistance. 

After having had the morning pep talks, where the company culture based on surpassing oneself is screamed at you. At 1 p.m., you go running to change your suit and tie for a door-to-door outfit in the company locker room, then hurry up and eat in a very short time, encouraging fast food. Finally, I hope you have a car or an OPUS card to go to the zone in Montreal or Laval that is automatically assigned to you. Some areas are hellish where you won't sell anything, but you have no choice but to come back the next day and continue working at $0 for 8-10 hours a day. And it's also a popular idea to come in on weekends.

When you start this job you're implicitly told - if you want to make money this isn't the place, 70% of people gaslight that they do make money. Mainly ambitious young men who have been sold an opportunity to move up in the company and become somebody. 

Many called but very few chosen! Make sure you ask the right questions at the interview. High Turnover 

Karrat Management is notorious for being the worst job ever. Employees are forced to work endless hours with little regard for their well-being, often feeling like mere cogs in a relentless machine. Despite the demanding schedule, there's no proper training to help staff finalize sales, leaving many struggling to meet unrealistic expectations. Adding to the frustration, payment is delayed until three weeks after starting, and even then, it's only given in cheques, which is inconvenient and outdated. The workplace environment is unstable and tense, as firings are a daily occurrence, creating a culture of fear and uncertainty. The lack of support, combined with the constant threat of losing their job, makes working at Karrat Management a truly miserable experience, with employees left feeling undervalued and overworked.

Working at Karrat Management is a rewarding experience, particularly for those who are opportunity-driven and interested in sales improvement. After a year of hard work, Karrat Management looks more like a home to me and my colleagues. 
The team is welcoming and willing to provide you with any help you might need. It helped me pick up a lot of new skills and improve old ones; including sales, people skills, mental growth, time management, public speaking... 
I find myself often staying after hours with the guys as they became a second family, hanging out and going out on some crew nights.
The overall vibe is energetic and motivating, music blasting all day long making the atmosphere very appealing. 

Never thought of building a career out of sales, however, this place provided a clear vision of what great opportunities await.

Day-to-day is very dynamic. It is a sales environment so super high energy. A lot of daily personal and professional development. Management cares about that.

Very entrepreneurial culture, what you put into it you will get out of it. 
This is great for me because I like being in control of my results but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. 
The hardest part of the job is the "client acquisition". You always need to be hungry for it. But that is what makes you valuable.

When applying for a job here, please note that there is no salary. This was a HUGE mistake on their part. The description was worded in a way that left you expecting a base pay with commission on top of that. You are strictly required to earn your income through commissions. This is extremely hard to do, as you are really pushing people to buy the product. Not for their benefit, but for your own. Even if the clients do buy the product, you’re still making a small amount of commission. As well, you are working endless hours just to make ends meet. I do not recommend this job to somebody that lives alone, or someone that has responsibilities. This job is for younger people who still live at home and are not expected to pay any bills.

This job is commission based and in order to help you grow and focus on training they incentivize you a bonus in order to learn the basic and not worry about selling. I went from not selling at all to being we’ll respect amongst my peers in a matter of weeks. If you are looking for a place to grow as an individual and succeed in all aspects in life (financial, leadership, and emotional intelligence) this place is the best place to grow and thrive amongst people who will one day be extremely successful! In my time working I’ve seen two people promoted to owners in my 6 months here! So be prepared to learn and sulk in their knowledge because we do offer one on one coaching!

I had a wonderful experience working with Karrat management . There is so much to learn within the company, and ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. The company's mentality fosters a supportive environment where everyone is willing to help each other. I particularly enjoyed the numerous activities both inside and outside of work, which added a great sense of camaraderie. Overall, it was a fantastic place to be a part of, and I highly recommend Karrat management for those seeking a dynamic and engaging work environment.

The good vibes and energy of the team motivates me to come every single morning regardless of how I feel, I knew that I will see my second family, not regular work colleagues. Every day I am learning new things and I always see improvements on my development (profesionnal and personal)

This job was definitely a new challenge for me but it's better than what I expected since there is unlimited potential on the opportunity and the rapidity of growth once ure performing and having no cap on what I can earn is the best part. I certainly recommand.
