If you are hard working, care about doing the best and want to be the best? Avoid the Lethbridge plant like the plague. If you want to make some quick cash for the summer? You can survive. But, don't expect to raise a family, have a life, or not get burned out. Management is the main problem. They are openly trying to break the union, by effectively sowing discord among the employees. Either they are stupid or nefarious, they lie to everyone, including each other. The few good supervisors they do get, quickly burn out or find a better work environment. The union representation is unqualified to say the least.

Unhappy workforce who have been in the same jobs too long with no advancement

Toxic and confrontational between employees themselves and with management

Boring, repetitive and constantly being judged by senior employees.

boring place to work. how hard you work means nothing. whos butt you kiss or who you make mad is all that matters. fire hard workers cause they make the union workers look bad. doubles standards everywhere. management fires people for know reason but lets some people who miss more time stay because they are family of a union member or supervisor. they will also try and fire you if you get sick.

I recommend that if you love yourself or anyone looking for work, don’t work here! It is toxic, you are a number and managers only care about results. They will kick you while you are down. They don’t care about their employees as people, despite all the flowery words they tell you!  Disingenuous…. Employees are toxic too. The long-serving ones are entitled, have bad attitudes, treat everyone badly and get away with it. No accountability. Very bad place to work… unless you like that sort of thing and to get paid badly while you’re at it?

I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for this place. Horrible management, there's a lot of favoritism at this workplace, half of the employees including the management don't even get along with each other, back stabbing people not to mention the union representative is completely useless. Having a union at a workplace like this proves that they can't even keep their employees. It's horrible. 

I joined the company during a financial struggle and after a year and a half of service they had no choice but to let me go.  Kawneer offers fabulous architectural products but is having difficulty competing in today's market.

If you have a family life or just enjoy your weekends be prepared to constantly hear comments about it. The want people to work 6 days a week without question.

A typical day was always busy, with management always encouraging safety first. Co-workers were a pleasure to work with .Working with this group was the best.

It's a pretty good place to work, pay is good as well. the managers are pretty cool people and the benefits are great, they also don't expect superhuman levels of work

I worked for the plant in lethbridge it is the most toxic place you will ever work at. The management are snakes and if you even resemble a tiny little bit of a decent worker they get rid of you
