Was able to get great exposure to a high paced results driven environment without neglecting saftey. Days were 10 hours split with 2 half hour breaks. A usual day consited of morning stretches followed by a saftey huddle and then send the crews out into the field to pull cable. The hardest part of the job was to manage everthing at the moment and also plan for the future, directing men and materials where it best suite the companys goals.

turnover meeting. Plan which jobs are priority. Divide manpower accordingly. Make sure we have all materials, trade support and clearance to perform these tasks. Ensure everyone is working safely and communicate with them so that there is no misunderstanding. Gather reports and pass over to those on a need to know basis.

Kentz Callisto great Company to work for. Treated fair and with respect. Vast majority of people were very frindly and easy to get along with, although there are a few that should just go home lol. Safety is job one and is a priority, not a facade.

The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to meet new people and experience new things. There are no hard part in this job because everyone is working together as a team to finish the work and meet target goals. The workplace culture is very diversified which makes it more exciting because you get to work with different kinds of people.

Simply the most unorganized and backstabbing place I have ever seen. The one and only reason people stay with this company is the money. There is no job security and nepotism and cronyism rules. If you are a great behind kisser you will survive ok. Most people with any sort of integrity leave.

good place too work with a decent camp , but long bus rides 45 mins between work and camp that are not paid , and also have to wait 15 to 20 mins to get off the bus at the end of the day , they make people wait till all the buses are parked and ready to unload

I felt very safe while at work and that I was doing a good cause in helping get my job as well as helping co workers clean up, jack hammering, digging, flagging, spotting, and being a labour swamper all in a productive safe environment

Going 3 years with Kearl. Great environment. Very dusty during dry season. Area Operators are great and is easy to deal with. Just the camp sucks. Food in the kitchen is ok. For in the bag up room is repetitive and always the same, no other option to choose from.

Work was ok but the schedule is not that good. I work on shutdown and we have to stay at the camp for the whole duration of shutdown. If 30 days or 50 days you stay at the camp with one day-off every 6 days of work.

flights in are great plant is safe , staff are great..
there is no push to get it done so fast the quality is low..
the busses to and from camp , could use alot of better coordination, my 9 yr old could do it ..
