Days are comprised of many meetings. People arrive at work before 8 am and stay passed 6 pm on a regular basis. 
Management also work long hours including evening and weekends.
Learned time management, strategic planning, budgeting, regulatory affairs, consumer affairs, advertising, public relations, government affairs, preparing power point presentation and presenting in front of management, how to run effective meeting, situational leadership, nutrition labelling, working on cross functional teams including legal, accounting, marketing, sales and communications.
Co-workers are friendly, helpful, non-competitive.
Hardest part of the job were the long hours and the long week.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the creativity and the importance given to my contribution across the company.

It all comes down to who your boss is - or who they report to. With a decent boss, no micromanaging - you have a job to do, flexible hours to get it done. What matters is the result.

You get a boss who is a bit of an donkey (you can figure out the word I wanted to use but was blocked), time to look elsewhere.  After 20 years, I ended up with a new boss up from Michigan - had no idea what my role was, had one 20 minute phone call - decided my role was not needed (as they didnt have the same role in the US). Decided to cancel my position, force me into a role I had no interest in - but expected me to train others in what my current tasks entailed. 

I resigned under duress...

Great place to work! Opportunity to learn new skills. Perform a variety of jobs, day to day. Just do your job and supervisors are good to you.
I have training as a process operator (making cereal); and in many other supporting roles. The people I've worked with are great! Most days I share a laugh with at least one person. The toughest part of the job is being on call, and working part-time.

most of the time spend in the receiving dept receiving raw materials and cartons and storing  in proper areas and delivering some of the materials to proper departments.Also process the bills of the materials received.

Kellogg's was a great place to work.  I was usually never on the same job two days in a row so, there was variety. Management trusted the workers to do what they were told. Most co-workers were friendly. The hardest part of the job was being on call.

Operate, repair and monitor equipment for the operation process.

Always learning new ways to maintain equipment and food safety.

Management and work culture were comfortable to deal with.

Shift work was the hardest part of the job.

I loved to work for Company. I found them careing and willing to go the extra mile to help you out. they were there when you needed them. Family was very important to the company

I work my way into three area's and loved to learn new jobs every year.I hold 17 different jobs at kelloggs and did a good job making the best product I could ,quality # 1

The Maintenance department at the London facility was world class. I was given all the tools to plan and execute work for a crew of 40 skilled trades. One of the most rewarding jobs of my career.


Loved working there. Was on contract.
Outsourced Credit Department to India
They had summer hours. I was on contract so I did not have benefits.
But was informed they were excellent benefits
