Training adequat tho in my experience was live the wk after poor management from day one organising vehicles, phone and tools after approx things drop into place you get quicker tho there’s no enough work out there to fulfill the engineers I stuck it out for approx 18mths on promises etc of more work tho it was very poor managed at times too many engineers as like a lot of things some jobs take 20 mins or 2hrs with a fault of not your making, if your not careful your work load can b pinched by other engineers trying to mk ends meet only happens to me once as I dropped manners on him and the management I loved the job nand people both customers and fellow engineers  but you won’t make a very good leaving when break down hrs worked and payed tho ideal for a stepping stone to get into either virgin,open reach or the communications sector box clever with this role!!!!

During my 3 weeks at St Helens training center, I have learnt a lot of skills and life lessons. I have learnt a lot of valuable skills on my course to prepare me for the telecommunications industry. It’s been intense but the trainers are well educated and knowledgable and show you how to do the job as well as teaching the theory side in a clear understanding way. I am confident going into the field and a special shout out to my trainers J.H, A.W, and M.B, cheers guys!

How can can I explain this job!  First of all no one cares about you, get ya daily workload off ya go. Management favour there friends so they get all the easier jobs which means they can do more and make most money while others get three  2 hour jobs. And get paid exactly the same. Also driving hours to get to jobs to find out it can't go in cos BT not done there job!  You get nothing for that not even a sorry. Poor company AVOID

I was training here for just over 1 week it was a joke the training was done so fast all they wanted was people out working with very little interest in safety I see people claiming polls and hanging by a landlard at 11meters high after this the trainers told us if you don’t like this that’s the door goodbye it was trash all the way at to drive in my car to the hotel 20 miles from the centre I would tell anyone not to join this company 

Don't bother mangers are a joke and they really are total waste of space. Your a number and have the biggest turn over of staff. 1000s joined and left in the time I was there. And that was less than 2 years. And where they say your ve working is not true go to Wark for them in Chatham and then be expected to drive 3 hours plus to some where else and do full day and go home for basically min wage. Just don't bother or waste your time. 

Don’t work here. Management do not care about the hours you work can be 15 hour days with poor wages. No organisation from people higher up. Engineers expected to deal with all the problems. The hours of driving must be unsafe. 
Treated like a number and not a human. 
Training was very poor and no idea how they can get away with treating employees the way they do. 

Horrible company to work for such a high staff turn over due to abysmal management, poor attitude to technicians. expected to complete 4 installations a day but usually bullied into doing 6-7 wit threat of suspension or lose of job if you don't. Expect to be working 12+ hours a day. And be warned big possibility they are losing there contract so mass redundancy is a possibility. 


If your customer facing as in Field Engineer you will not get full support from your manager and Higher management staff, some not all will not give you the time of day. 

K.H was excellent in all aspects of the  training, explained everything in theory and practical to a very high standard, Great hotel and excellent food 

Week 3 SD,
Had any great week on my week 3 the trainer really helped me get up the pole as I wasn't a fan of heights and he encouraged me in a constructive way and has a wealth of knowledge and experience he was happy to pass on.
