Honestly not the worst place to work, not the best either. A great learning experience, somedays are difficult with the sheer amount of trips you do, the different people you have to talk to who sometimes are in a bad mood if they are late  because a driver missed his pickup time. The manager barely ever talks to the customers when they desperately want his attention which can be annoying.

As  a shuttle driver there I was constantly harassed by managers that kept changing because of shareholders. I was also confronted (in front of customers) demanding to know what I was charging for the trip by shareholders. There is constant gossiping and backstabbing with both other drivers and shareholders that run there cabs out of the airport. Although there is a"no approach" policy for shuttle driver's I was constantly harassed to be more agressive to secure more trips.

A typical day at work will be receiving calls from customers who need a cab. Basic data entry.

I learnt a great deal on how to deal with rude customers.

Management was okay.

Co-workers loved to gossip. Not a very healthy work environment especially if you like to mind your own business.

There was nothing hard about this job. Simplest job I have ever had to do.

The most enjoyable part of the job is that there is always something in the kitchen :)

I am affiliated with Kelowna Cabs almost a year. It is a good company to work with if you own a Cab .Working as shift operator/driver is not enough to make all your expenses.

I left the company  last year due to bullying  harassment I have started my own company and I treat my staff with the utmost respect. Which is what we never got from the management  at kelowna cabs .

kelowna cabs treat me very good. Friendly staff and colleagues. I start in the evening and staffs are very helpful and willing to do any kind of help. Its a great place to work.

i am a casual driver. i enjoy my work. it is a good company to work with. everyone is very helpful (co drivers). i learnt to be very patient at road and deal with all kind of people.

These guys will slit each other's throats over $5. Any communication from those in charge comes in the form of  threats, usually in front of the whole staff.

It was a good place to get some drivers experience, It was fun meeting new people and making deliveries in the big city. It has drove to be a better operator.

start work at 3pm and end around  1am pick up cab and drive to airport and wait for customers at arrivald
