Upon hiring, they promised me a decent truck but provided me a beat up truck with the screaming Lane Departure assistant and nose sensor - incredibly annoying . 
Apparently it's temporary until they find me a better truck

Trailers seem to be in good shape

Was told there was plenty of work, but i they couldn't work around my schedule, they sent me home 40h earlier than planned

Low cpm and pick/drop/switch rates - apparently drivers can't be paid reasonably because the company is spending so much on safety, maintenance and newer equipment
Orientation felt half @ssed

The elog machine requires drivers to input countless information in several windows at every steps of any order....time consuming with barely any benefits - just more unpaid on-duty time

They require every staff member to be vaccinated against covid

This is, and always has been, a great place to work. It’s a place where you’re a name, not a number. Dispatch is the best you’ll find anywhere with regular home time, when you want it. Attitude is everything, a good one will be rewarded. New drivers may not see past the apparent “low wages” people claim, but I can assure you that is an illusion, cpm alone isn’t a true measure of earning potential. Do the real math and this place is as good, or better than any other east coast company. 

I have been at Keltic for 16 years.  During those years they have been there for me during some family crisis times.  The reason I am also looking for a part time job to go along with my full time is that my husband is in a nursing home and looking to supplement my single income.

Daily duties would involve keeping on top of equipment maintenance, paperwork being completed and submitted in a timely fashion. 
Office personnel are friendly and easy to get along with which makes the job that much easier to accomplish without worrying about asking questions about unfamiliar tasks requested of you but not forced onto you.

Can't say anything negative. Always treated me good. Its kind of working with your family


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Honestly? Nothing stressful there 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its pro employees, as I've said. Like working with family

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Smooth, no stress, a lot of support

Working here was like working with a very big family  we all celebrate victories and we all stood together for the challenges.  Very fast paced but that made for fun fast days  owner is very much involved and values all his staff his children all work there and they all go out of their way to always put a smile on everyone’s face

I haven't had any issues with them. Great office staff and an amazing open door policy. Dispatch always willing to try to help and always honest with drivers. But it's trucking  things can go wrong and will

One big family everyone works to help each other achieve their goals. Never to busy to help each other respect goes both ways at work .drivers and more like brothers and sistersthenjust a number 

People here are arrogant and clicky.  Unfortunately the great owner has passed away so things will get a whole lot worse.  When I got sick, they hired someone for my job and I was left in AR (which I had never done before).  Ended up being a horrible place to work.

Great company to work for. Nice family atmosphere. They are flexible with routes in order for you to spend more time with your family. They try to make sure you have a good work/home balance.
